Great location - right in the heart of the Isle of Wight. My family and I travelled by bicycle from Cowes along the Red Squirrel trail. It was easy to get to everywhere including the beaches in Sandown and Shanklin. There is a supermarket a few minutes away which was open till late and it was very easy to get in and out of Newport.

The hosts were very helpful. The yurts were very clean and well appointed. Everything you could want or need as a family was provided. The "honesty shed" was brilliant. My kids absolutely loved all the play equipment , trampoline, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely rate this place!
I wish the three rubbish bins were labeled as we had no idea what went where. Also, there were quite a bit of stinging nettles around the trampoline so we were glad we brought a medical kit with us.

The yurt was well equipped and comfortable, with heaters and a wood-burner to offset the chill at night - it also had fans which might be useful in the summer. In the summer, with a longer stay, I can imagine having some days just staying at Burnt House Farm with the children playing on the trampoline and large lawn while us parents relax! But there's also plenty to do & see on the Island.
The fridge was rather small, but not a big problem.

The Yurts were clean and well equipped. They were thoroughly tested by a major storm - neither wind nor rain got inside. The location was idyllic - trees, fields and greenery in all directions. Malcolm was discreet, friendly and helpful. The location was also good from the getting to places point of view - a major supermarket is nearby and nowhere on the Island is more than 30 minutes away.
Nervous drivers with large vehicles need to know that even by IoW standards the road leading to the site is narrow and windy.
