Casa SAMAMBAIA

Casa Samambaia is een stijlvol verblijf op een prachtige locatie in het sfeervolle Santa Teresa. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is dik in orde en vooral de douche met uitzicht over Santa Teresa, de favela’s en Cristo is echt een pluspunt. Wat ons verblijf uiteindelijk helemaal afmaakte, was de enorme behulpzaamheid van Angelica. Ze stond altijd voor ons klaar en zorgde ervoor dat al onze wensen keurig werden ingewilligd.

Op een zaterdagnacht was er een feest in de nabijgelegen favela dat tot diep in de nacht doorging. Hierdoor was slapen, zelfs met oordoppen in, behoorlijk lastig. We hebben dit bij Angelica aangegeven en zij heeft hier heel netjes op gereageerd en direct met ons meegedacht. Op het moment zelf vonden we het natuurlijk behoorlijk vervelend, maar achteraf gezien hebben we zo wel de full Santa Teresa experience meegepakt. En ik zou liegen als ik zou zeggen dat ik niet stiekem een paar goede plaatjes uit de favela heb geshazamd.

Casa meravigliosa. Posizione defilata dal caos del centro sulla collina di Santa Teresa sulla strada per Corcovado. La zona è comunque ricca di locali.

Casa Samambia es bellísima, las instalaciones , la decoración y las vistas son increibles. Nos esperaban Angelica y Denise que fueron muy amables y simpáticas. Mejor recibidas sería imposible. Angelica estaba atenta a todo lo que necesitaramos. Un real encanto de persona. Gracias por todo!!!

Very elegant house - art and design lovers will love it! Located in Santa Teresa with an incredible view and a nice shared swimming pool. We also loved the private pools in our other appartment!

We had 2 apartments: the Ipanema apartment has a good layout and space for a family with 3 children. The kitchen arra is small, but enough for short stays. Unfortunately the dishes were not clean and there was no dish soap provided (what explained the oily film on the dishes) The furniture looks nice and well thought, but all the fabrics were dirty and had stains. Overall seemed the apartment needed maintenance (painting, cleaning of sofa and bed spreads). We enjoyed the terrace but could not sit outside in the sun because it was too hot and there was no parasol. The Casa Bahia apartment has an interesting layout with the outdoor kitchen. In theory it's a nice idea but in practice everything was very dirty. Not only from the construction that happened in the main area next to the pool but also cleaning did not happen (spider webs inside the drawers). The bedroom has a good space. Unfortunately there were a lot of small cockroaches. That's why I could not spend the whole stay in the apartment. When I told the lady that took care of the stay, there was no offer to change the room or support me with aids. Additionally there was a party the day before our arrival. The common area with pool was still dirty with employees glasses and dirt from the construction side.
