Fantastic stay and highly recommended!!

This is a beautiful apartment! It presents just like the photos - it’s very clean, spacious and decorated beautifully so it feels like a home. It is stocked with everything we needed to prepare dinner each night - a four burner stove, grill press, a kettle and a coffee pod machine if you want to bring some pods. We really appreciated the washing machine (some detergent was provided) and we hung our clothes to dry on the drying rack on the balcony (there is also an iron and board to use). The balcony is small but is undercover and very well protected from any rain. The bed mattress is very comfortable with the loveliest soft linen! We slept so well! It is very well located, only a 10 -15 minute easy walk from the central bus stop area and main tourist restaurant precinct. We found it very quiet even though it’s on a busy road. Communication with the host is excellent. Although he doesn’t speak much English he is great with WhatsApp and was always in touch (gave very detailed directions on finding the apartment), checking how we were going and offering any help which might be needed. He is also just an incredibly kind person! He even let us leave a couple of bags of clothes in a cupboard whilst we went off for a few days hike, which we couldn’t have done without his help. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends, family and others.

Excellent apartment in the center of Shkodra

Everything was great. The host was super polite and very professional. The apartment was one of the best I ever stayed in. Very comfortable and clean. Beds were clean and very comfortable. There is a washing machine and balcony to dry your laundry. Kitchen is spacious and loaded with amenities. Bathroom was very clean and with plenty of room and light.

The location was perfect, right to the center,the apartament was big and very comfortable,the rooms were designed in a very modern style..The apartament was very clean and the administrator of Ideal Home was very friendly and polite…The apartament was located in the heart of Shkodra,there were a lot of restaurants,supermarkets,bars and fast foods…7 minutes by walk you were able to be in the most frequented and historical road of Shkodra in Pedonale. It was a great stay and the price was very affordable. Would definitely book again.Thank you Ideal Home for making us enjoy our staying..☺️

Bad management

Big apartment, many restaurants and cafes nearby

After the first shower the bathroom floor was completely underwater and it never dried again and it was not even possible to push the water down the drain. We did a last minute booking on the same day and immediately tried to reach the owner to ask whether it was okay to stay with a dog (in the regulations it said yes without extra costs) and when we could check in but didn‘t get an answer for two hours. When we called he hung up and never called back. Later we tried again and finally got an answer and were told that we had to wait for another 1.5 hours and that dogs were not allowed. When we complained they said that it was okay but when we went to the apartment at the said time it was still not ready and the same procedure about the dog started again.

Fantastic apartment with great host

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Parking is available right next zo the apartment. We could leave our car there for a few days longer while trekking through the Tethi national park. We had a really great stay in Shkodra. The apartment was very clean and provided even more than we needed. It is located quite central, so the inner city can be easily explored by foot. Don’t miss a cappuccino in the Café below the apartment.

Our host, Erald, was incredibly nice and helpful! Much more than we would expect, thank you so much for that ❤ the place is in perfect location and has a parking space. Very, very close to shops and restaurants. Apartament is big enough and well equipped- we can definitely recommend to stay here!

Piso amplio, agradable y muy nuevo. Habitaciones amplias. Muy buena localización. Cocina muy completa aunque una pizca sucia. Sofá enorme que era muy cómodo

El baño olía ligeramente a cañeria. Se escucha bastante ruido de la calle. El aire acondicionado de una de las habitaciones no terminamos de saber como regularle, enfriaba muchisimo.

Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Ganz besonders gut war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Eine geräumige Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern für nicht mal 20€/ Nacht. Allein dafür gab es einen Punkt extra. Die Einrichtung wie Möbel, Bilder, Teppiche, Fliesen ist sehr geschmackvoll. Die Wohnung ist hellhörig, die Nachbarn sind aber auch nicht laut. Erald war sehr flexibel, freundlich und überraschte mich mit Deutschkenntnissen.

Es war für mich kein Problem und nicht unerwartet, aber natürlich hört man den Lärm der großen Hauptstraße. Die Fenster sind nicht besonders isoliert. Manchmal riecht der Abfluss im Bad. Auch wäre im Bad eine kleine Reparatur nötig. Der Vermieter versucht, natürlich entsprechend der 5 Betten, viele Sitzgelegenheiten zu schaffen. Dadurch wirkt es manchmal etwas vollgestellt (Balkon, Küche). Aber alles nichts, was von einer Buchung abhalten sollte. :-)

Mooi, schoon en netjes appartement

De woning was van alle gemakken voorzien en had alles in het huis wat we nodig hadden. Het is een knus huisje dat is aangekleed en huiselijk aan doet. Host is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. En we hebben er goed geslapen en konden vanuit de woning de stad verkennen.

Van te voren was het handig geweest te weten waar we konden parkeren. We hadden al een betaalde parkeerplek gevonden en hoorde achteraf pas wat de mogelijkheden waren, handig om dit van te voren in de chat al te vertellen.
