The Gate Lodge at Gwrych Castle is very unique and it feels like you are living in a medieval castle. The main bedroom has a 4 poster bed and all the furnishings throughout give it this medieval feel . It is also very private as the main gates are locked . There is a nearby forest walk which takes you to caves and next to them are vertical rock faces for rock climbing .
Nothing really apart from every time you enter or leave the property you have to unlock the main gates .

The uniqueness, the location and the size of the property inside and out.
I know it’s an old castle building but the cleanliness could’ve been improved a little with more vacuuming or the webs and the bedding a bit more better quality and perhaps white in colour.
Sharing the grounds with other visitors who rent the gothic bedroom felt a little intruding at times. (Although we knew this was to be expected, we wasn’t sure what was shared)
