Blue's House

Beautiful property, the terrace is gorgeous (was where i became i fiancé)! Good coffee making facilities and a big fridge for food. Being able to do washing was also a game changer for travelling!

More to be aware, It is 138 steps from the main town square, so carrying luggage up there is rather difficult

A really great view from all the big windows and the terrace. Very clear sea view and of the valley and the ancient monastery. The terrace us on your roof and private. Excellent, if you wake up early and see the sun approach. Two big beds and bedrooms. Nice kitchen. Good air conditioning (very important). 4 minutes walk to Attani center and 10 minutes walk to the best restaurants of Amalfi. No rush, just relax and enjoy the wine and the scenery. Nice beach and a view at the most beautiful luxury yachts. The apartment is on the roof of the building, which is weird but very good for the views. Very good reception.

Minor setbacks. We will revisit. The biggest thing in all of Atrani is the stairs. To get anywhere with a suitcase is hard work. In all properties around. Some ants, fixed quickly. A bit difficult to find the first time. The whole town is a medieval tunnel :) Some trouble in the whole Amalfi coast with the internet.

Aircondition fungerte ikke som det skulle da vi kom, men ble rettet opp i da vi sa fra. De kommunale reglene for søppelhåndtering og henting av det gjennom uken var litt kompliserte å forstå.

It was in a lovely village

Very poor greeting and we were given no help with our luggage. Person who greeted us and showed us to the property was rude and unhelpful and we felt like we were “herded” into the property. Property was very inaccessible with lots of steps (and we are quite fit and mobile). It was badly lit at nighttime . Advertised as having a rooftop terrace. Shabby, shabby and shabby! Grotty looking space with absolutely no attempt made at making it nice and sunloungers looked horrible- not at all inviting . Also, even more steps up to this area. Inside the accommodation had steep steps down to kitchen area and more steps down to bedrooms and bathroom. Bathroom was dark and cold looking and had a bad small shower. People renting this place should bring the price way down in consideration of all these negatives. I loved Atrani. It was one of the favourite places I stayed in on the Amalfi coast but I wish I had picked a different accommodation there as it looked like there were other nicer alternatives. I am usually good at picking good places to stay but I bombed on this occasion. Having said all the above, the inside of the accommodation was clean but it definitely would not be recommended by me and didn’t come near to living up to the description given.
