Apartment Seven

The apartment was large and modern, seating was comfortable. having the little balcony facing the street and green space beyond was nice, and good for drying clothes. The kitchen had plenty of facilities and cutlery. The bed quite comfortable and ensuite neat although small.

Some minor irritants, to an otherwise great experience. The main panel of push-button light switches was unnecessarily complicated, and one push button failed for us in the "on" position so we had foot lighting in the hall all night. Just replace them with rocker switches please. Three of the downlights in the living/kitchen had previously blown- hopefully that was attended to after we reported it and had left. We kept bumping our heads on the low light shades over the dining table. There was some loud rail noise during the evening, but we accepted that, it is a benefit to be so close to the station for carrying suitcases.

Lots of space , bedrooms both en-suite. Extra toilet. Kitchen had everything you needed. Loved the sun room . Basket full of goodies was a lovely touch . Very modern and very clean . Laundry room , dishwasher . Lots of towels, lots of books to read with a chess board and board games. Everything was fabulous. 5 minute walk to town centre . Best place I’ve stayed for a long time . Would definitely recommend.
