La amabilidad del Señor Jesús y su familia, es excepcional. Te ayudan en todo y son muy serviciales. Las camas son muy confortables, y la vista es increíble .

Si bien ponen calefacción, en la madrugada hace mucho frío, pero te ayudan brindándote más sábanas.

Tout était exceptionnel

The owners, Jesus and Mary, were wonderful. Their lodge is actually located a bit outside of the main strip of homes, making for an extremely peaceful and restful stay. The sunset and views of the shimmering Puno lights at night were spectacular. Breakfast was excellent. Jesus had just installed a propane heater in the room, which was much appreciated on what was a very cold night. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets to keep warm too. Mary even brought us hot water bottles to keep our feet warm. We wish we could have stayed longer and explored more of the islands with them, and would definitely stay there again if we ever return. Jesus is building a new unit, so there will be even more opportunity for people to enjoy a well needed escape from the usual hustle and bustle, and noise that comes with, of a Peruvian town. The only noise you will hear will be from passing boats during the day and the natural inhabitants of the lake (birds, ducks, etc).

Weather was so cold that it froze the water lines, so we couldn’t test the hot water. Hard to fault the owners given the location of the lodge and how Mother Nature works.

Der Aufenthalt bei Mary und Jesus war etwas sehr spezielles. Man findet hier nicht den Luxus. Jedoch die Natur pur. Der Aufenthalt wird mir lange in guter Erinnerung bleiben.

In der Nacht kann es kalt werden. Also warme Kleider mitnehmen.
