Modern studio apartment with outstanding views, sleeps 2

The location was fabulous with great views across the bay to St Michael's Mount especially from the sun terrace above the flat. There was milk and a cream tea with home made scones on arrival. Totally delicious! We enjoyed these overlooking Newlyn and Mounts Bay. Communication was excellent and we were able to check in an hour earlier. We had absolutely everything we needed - the coffee machine with pods was perfect.

It is only slight but the bathroom needed slightly better ventilation. The apartment was scrupulously clean however and this did not impact our stay at all.

Perfect location from which to discover Cornwall. The room is located on a quiet street just up the hill from the center of Newlyn. With every amenity you might need, it was wonderfully decorated. As a bonus there’s a terrace with a great view of the seascape.

Not a thing.

The place was spotless, beautifully equipped, and the hosts perfect. So very helpful but not intrusive. They gave practical advice and were extremely hospitable. The view from the roof terrace - a wonderful bonus - of St Michael's Mount was most pleasant. We couldn't have asked for more.

There wasn't anything not to like, but the road up to the property is a bit scary the first time.

Location perfect with incredible views from window & rooftop. Hosts very pleasant & easily available. Kitchen fully equipped. Bed very comfortable. Essential in Newlyn parking right outside accommodation. Welcome Cornish clotted cream & jam scones delightful. All in all the perfect location, easy walking distance to Newlyn all restaurants pubs & shops. Uphill quite steep but great expertise.

This is just a me thing, I like my room very dark to sleep & this couldn't be accomplished here. There are blinds but just not as dark as I like.

It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with the roof top terrace a bonus.

The approach to the property is a steep hill that is narrow in places but I guess this is paid back by the great view.

The place is more than what w've expected. It didn't like just an airbnb or a hotel room, it was too warm that it honestly felt like home. There are 1. My partner and I walked to the place from Penzance train station. It was quite a distance but we have been blessed with a beautiful sunny day with the majestic view of the English Channel Coast. 2. We've met Kirk at the bottom of the Old Paul's hill and guided us towards the house. As soon as we arrived, he toured us around the house and found the most beautiful spot, the roof top garden wherein we had the most outstanding view of the coast and a bonus of doing a star gazing during the night (we saw 2 shooting stars). 3. The have prepared 4pcs of homemade cream tea scones for us that was extremely delicious. It was served with strawberry jam and clotted cream. 4. We've cooked our first dinner there. We had Salisbury steak and bought ingredients at the nearby Coop. 5. Most of the places we've visited were recommended by Kirk because we honestly went there with no plans. Went to Mousehole and experienced this nice little village then went to St. Ives the following day for my birthday. The most beautiful view in the UK by far. 6. The most important thing for us is the hospitality and warmth of the people particularly Kirk and Pat. Not not mention how nice their daughter, Kate is. Meeting them was what made our stay in Cornwall extra special.

Not that I didn't like it but the climb it is an uphill. It was just a less than 5-minute uphill climb to the house but I we are always up for a challenge.

The hosts were friendly and met us on arrival to show us where to go and park. We loved the accommodation, it was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. The tasty scones with cream and jam and milk were a welcome treat after a long trip. The views from the upstairs are amazing, we caught a gorgeous sunrise one morning.

Nothing to dislike. We loved it but if I had to say something, the door locks could do with some attention as stuck a bit. Also not a dislike but the apartment is up a steep, narrow hill. We have a small car so it was ok but would be a struggle in a bigger car.
