La Piazza Menaggio

The location of the property is superb. The information provided was good and I received quick response to any queries. The welcome gift box was a lovely touch.

The property is fairly tired and in need of some TLC. We found that neither of the electrical sockets by the beds in all of the bedrooms worked, which meant whilst there were bedside lights, it was not possible to use them. The pipe on the upstairs shower was split and therefore we were unable to use it and this resulted in 5 people all having to use the downstairs shower which, was less than ideal. There are no blinds on either of the sky lights in the upstairs rooms which means the rooms are very light from 5.30am. Additionally some of the power sockets seem loose, particularly the one in the kitchen area and to me seemed a little unsafe. Despite those things we still had a great time.

The kids liked the staircase and their rooms.

It wasn't the cleanest, there were bits of rubbish and food around the apartment when we arrived. Also the milk in the welcome package was 2 months out of date.
