Apartmány Karlovy Dvory

We had a great stay at Apartmány Karlovy Dvory. The apartment is very spacious, with plenty of room even for a larger group, and it was exceptionally clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped — it really had everything we needed and even more. It’s also a great place for families with children. The location is quite remote, which can definitely be a plus if you are looking for peace and quiet. Personally, I missed being able to simply step outside and walk to a café, restaurant or shop, as there isn’t much infrastructure nearby and you basically need a car for everything. But this is very much a matter of personal preference — I simply enjoy having a little more of a town atmosphere around me. As for the accommodation itself, everything was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is very nice, clean, and spacious rooms. It's quiet location with a terrace to enjoy morning coffee.

At the checkout, the cleaning lady came 3min after the checkout time (10.03 AM). She asked to leave asap cause we are late and she doesn't have space for parking. It took us 10 more minutes to leave which made her a bit upset cause she is late with work (i'm sorry about that).

Beautifully designed and appointed property a 5-min drive from Horní Plána village, with three good restaurants on the square and a beach a short drive away. Kitchen was fully equipped for self-catering (plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery), and all appliances. Living room was really comfortable, sauna easy to use. (Large TV came in handy for a couple of World Cup football matches!) Deck and furniture made outside eating very pleasant. Beautiful view over the lake (about 500m away) from upstairs balcony (a bit obscured by trees downstairs). We were in apartment 7, one of the front ones. Our two children each had their own very comfortable room. We never met the host but she answered and resolved any questions quickly by phone. Some nice walks up into the woods just behind the property.

We thought we might be able to walk a straight line down to the beach from the property but it was a private campsite. So we just drove the 5-min to the main beach at Horní Plána. We were there the week before school holidays and parking was easy. Our last day was the first of the summer season and it got much busier.
