Nice place with a bad experience

Delivers well what we expected

The fact that other guests unrespectfuly to the around people, during several days, smoked cannabis/Marijuana which wasn't impossible not to smell and even entered in our room. "Supposedly" in a non-smoking hotel... We needed to interrupt our stay earlier than we paid for.

Breakfast was a bit below my expectations, but the hotel’s location is very good for this city.

My reservation clearly stated two separate beds, but when I checked in, the beds were pushed together. Unfortunately, neither the hotel staff nor Booking made any effort to address the situation.

Brand new minimalist ibis experience

Super close to castle, town center, fitness first. Check-in was very smooth and friendly, i was even pro-actively offered to get recommendations for restaurants. Hotel is very new and so rooms look pretty modern with ibis typical minimalism style. Breakfast is awesome for just 9.50 - really excellent cost-performance.

There is only one lighting circuit in the room: the ceiling and bed lights can only be turned on and off together...thats too much minimalism. Also I only got a single shower towel...not even a smaller for the sink...please put at least two for each guests into the rooms. Gluten-free bred is available at buffet and toasted on demand but cheap product that is not tasty. Please offer Schär in the future!!

Spotless accommodation, tastefully decorated. Situated within walking distance of restaurants. Secure underground parking suitable for motorcycle.

One night ok

Friendly staff, located in the center. Beds comfortable. One of the cheaper hotels, what doesn't means it's cheap for what you get, since all hotels close to Bodensee are overpriced. Free parking (So far, gates are installed, it's still under construction, so will see in the future. On booking.com it's stated already you have to pay for parking. Don't dare!

Very small rooms. No shelf for the bags, just the floor. Tiny desk, even a laptop is bigger. Desk lamp cannot seperated be switched. Loud ventilation during the day, quite annoying. Main light can only be switches from one bed side. Bed lights are blending, no matter in what direction turned. (not helpful for a good and fast sleep, should be known.) Very noisy, can hear all sounds from the adjacent room, thanks! If someone closes the door the room is shaking. Windows can only be tilt, not opened. Bathroom has no hooks for clothes, no hand towels. No door at the shower, so the bathroom floor getting wet. Soap on the floor!!! No money for a small shelf? In a nutshell, your interior designer did a quite bad job, in particular for this NEW hotel!

Location is great, supermarket close. Free parking.

Small rooms, it's like jail feeling. Very small desk. Heating doesn't work in the night. Shower without door, so the floor until the room got flooded. No hooks for clothes in the bathroom.

Booking.com states that room tax is included in the price, according to the hotel it is not, be prepared to pay this in addition. It's only Eur 4.0 so no big deal but htis should be made clear on booking. The standard of the hotel and staff more than makes up for this!

Nice for a good price

They offered us gluten free food at breakfast, and helped us order a taxi when we needed it. There is a supermarket close to the hotel, and a shopping center within walking distance.

The shower was small and the water flowed out of it, the room was small, and the walls are very hollow so that every door closing of someone in the next rooms could be heard

Good location but horrible room due to airconditioning not working.

Good location, close to the train station

Rooms where small and terribly hot. Airconditioning didn’t work in both rooms and we both didn’t sleep at all. The shower made the whole bathroom and living room flood because of the bad construction. The receptionist only said sorry and he offered us free breakfast that we already paid for. Not a good experience

Clean and modern

Staff had no idea what they were doing Do not attempt to enter the underground garage you will get stuck at the barrier which does not work and the staff yet again have no clue. Bad-design showers in the rooms will end up flooding your room, when you ask the staff they say yes we know and give you an extra towel. Breakfast is overpriced for what you get.

Die zentrale Lage, und das Frühstück.

Die Zimmer sind mehr als sporadisch, und das WLAN hat trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage nicht funktioniert. Dazu kommt der Empfang am Anreisetag. Wenn man schon mit nem blöden Spruch begrüßt wird, hat man schon keine Lust mehr auf das Hotel.
