A lovely convenient and well equipped appartment

We have visited Le Charmillon on a few occasions. We always find it very convenient, comfortable and well equipped. We normally stay for one night travelling through France. But it is equipped with everything you would need for a longer stay. On this stay the apartment was warm and welcoming (Feb 2026) which is always a great bonus. Sandarine and Teddy are always on hand if we need anything. We will return again in the near future.

Well equipped apartment and near to Tournus. Very Nice

The apartment is situated above a double garage and is in a lovely rural area. It has easy access to Tournus. This is our 3rd visit to the apartment. We are always happy with it and find it has everything we need for a one night stay or longer. The kitchen area is always clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. The lounge area is perfect with Fast WIFI a comfortable settee and also another seating area. The bedroom is very nice and has adequate wardrobe space. The apartment also has electric radiators and Air conditioning which we have found great when we stoped in the summer months. The bathroom is a good size an equipped with a shower and a washing machine. The hosts Sandrine and Teddy are always on hand if we have any questions. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will return next year.

Quiet location, easy to find using gps and streetview. Good communication with the Owner. Close to motorway and 5 min drive to the town. Safe parking in the garage. We'll come back.

Perfectly organized, cozy, and well-located with amazing hosts

We like literally everything! Well organized and equipped, good location, cozy and friendly. Amazing hosts taking care of each small detail. Great place for couple of 2-4 people. Nearby is charming small city Tournus with good restaurants and cafe. Looking forward to visit this place again 👍

The sofa in the living room is comfortable and spacious for sleeping, but it creaks – this might be important if you are sensitive to sounds. The bed in the bedroom is perfect, so you have a choice of where to sleep 😉

Tolle Übernachtung im südlichen Burgund.

Die Lage im südlichen Burgund ist super. Nach Tournus ist es nicht weit, aber auch zu den Kirchen und Schlössern im Burgund. Nach Cluny ist man in einer halben Stunde gefahren. Die Übernachtung ist insbesondere auch für größere Fahrzeuge geeignet. Es besteht genügend Parkraum. Fahrzeuge können in die Garage einfahren. Über eine Treppe erreicht man dann die Wohnung. Die Wohnung hat eine vollausgestattete Küche. Ebenfalls eine Waschmaschine.

Die Matratzen des Bettes sind für uns zu weich. Der Weg zur nächsten Infrastruktur (Bäckerei, Supermarkt) ist weit und nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Da die Übernachtung aussenliegend liegt, besteht keine Möglichkeit vor Ort etwas zu unternehmen.

Séjour très confortable et au calme

L'appartement est magnifique, spacieux, bien décoré et très bien équipé. Il se trouve dans un hameau au milieu de la campagne, c'est très calme tout en étant proche de Tournus et de ses commodités. C'était extra de disposer d'un garage pour mettre la voiture à l'abri du soleil pendant la canicule. Les propriétaires, sympathiques et accueillants, étaient présents à notre arrivée pour nous remettre les clés et donner quelques explications, c'est plus chaleureux qu'une simple boite à clés.

Dommage qu'il manque d'un vrai espace extérieur pour se poser ou prendre les repas, ça aurait été le top.
