Villa Larum

The place was clean, modern, and had everything you need for a nice vacation. We enjoyed a barbecue dinner by the pool area. It is about a 10 minute drive to Dubrovnik Old Town. There are three grocery stores nearby and a restaurant where we had the most delicious seafood platter ever for a very cheap price. Vedran is a nice guy and was great in assisting us to the place, he was also proactive about the internet issue and made sure to give us an alternative and have it fixed asap.

Nothing. It was perfect!

First of all the Villa. It is extremely well put together and modern with all ameneties you need. The pool is fantastic and having a shower and kitchen in the outhosue next to it is brilliant. All the rooms had brilliant aircon. The views of the mountians and of the gardens next to it are stunning. The rooms were all clean and comfortable. We used the barbecue and it was great with all the things you need provided. They had bluetooth sound systems by the pool and also in the rooms. It exceeded our expectations so much we spent most of oru holiday there with the kdis in the pool. The location was excellent. So many of my friends warned me that Dubrovnik is expensive And it really is. But as the villa is up the coast and in a suburban village Mokosica is a lovely escape. There is a supermarket literally at the end of the road where you can grab breakfasts and drinks at great prices. There is a bar aroun the corner that we found friendly (they even put the football on for our youngest child. There is a bistro down the road that was very good and much more reasonably priced that Dubrovnik itself. Yet Dubrovnik is a 15/20 min uber ride away (only use Uber - do NOT use local taxis). So this gave us the scenery and setting and all the goodness, but after popping into the city we can escape to the calm of the villa. Also, it's close to where the boats stay so we walked to our fishing trip and to a boat hire.

There was a little bit of noise from the works next door a couple of days but do not let that put you off. And as above, don't use local taxis. They are at least twice the price of Ubers.

There were treats for us on arrival and we were able to leave our luggage in the villa as we had arrived very early! The pool was amazing and great to have to cool down after a trip. The villa had absolutely everything that we needed and more! So close to 2 shops and a great bakery. Small restaurants and a pub close by. A 20 minute drive or a 30-40 minute bus into Old Town. A pebble beach a short walk away. Vedran and Zoran were more than accommodating and very helpful. Vedran helped us to book a 3 Island Tour and organised our mini bus from the airport! The villa was spotless and they even changed the linens for us during our stay - a big thank you to the housekeeping staff! We got some lovely gifts when leaving the villa. Our family of eight had plenty of room and we had an absolute blast! Thank you so much!

A small bit of a narrow driveway but easy to get used to if you’re renting a car!

Unreal host and Villa, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.
