Valhalla is the perfect oceanfront vacation home with its spacious floor plan and modern amenities. As soon as you walk into this lovely two-story home, you will notice the recently updated kitchen, stainless steel appliances, and the large granite countertops. With views from almost every room, Valhalla will quickly win you over.
The dining room features a sliding door out to the oceanfront deck where you can dine alfresco on sunny days or walk a few more steps and have a picnic right on the beach. Circle around to the living room that has plenty of room for everyone to lounge and relax.
Go upstairs and step through the double doors into the primary bedroom where you will be blown away by the spectacular ocean view. Step out onto the balcony and sip your coffee as you watch the birds swoop down to the ocean. On the other end of the house is a large kid's room with beds, a sofabed, and a TV with a VCR and plenty of room for them to play.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The fireplace is not operational.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Ocean views were incomparable and the beach access was fairly easy. House was well-stocked with cleaning supplies and the washer/dryer/dishwasher all worked great. There were plenty of plates/cutlery/utensils on hand for our large group.

We booked the house to gather and celebrate my mom's 85th birthday. The home, location and accessibility to the beach was perfect. The fire pit was a great addition for watching the sun set each evening. The deck and access to the beach was safe and manageable for young and old!. Being able to walk to town was the biggest surprise as this was our first trip to Rockaway. The only thing I didn't know is there is no bathroom with a shower or tub on the main floor. This will be an issue if someone can't navigate the stairs to bathe.

Sauna doesn't work but they had the entire Ken Burns: Baseball box set on DVD still wrapped in plastic, like pristine, so would recommend

Pros:
Beach views from main and master bedroom
Easy access to beach
Proximity to town
Large house plenty of room
Updated large kitchen
Laundryroom on bedroom level
Cons:
Stove top filthy with no working large burner
No outdoor shoes allowed which is understandable, however carpets are so gross you need indoor shoes.
Master bedroom door knob coming loose.
Main bathroom tub/shower is disgusting, the shower curtain and liner have not been changed and the tub was stained and dirty made me and guests uncomfortable and you don't provide cleaners.
All deck chairs are broken, in a stack on the side of the house. There is no outdoor seating.
If it weren't for the spectacular ocean view we would not stayed there.
I will not be staying here again.
