About this house rental
Isle of Palms
Family home- Elizabeth's Cottage
This beach house has been in our family for over 50 years and through 4 generations. We hope you will make amazing memories like we have in this house and on this beach.
The house is located one block from two different beach paths. You can take 21st Ave Beach path or 23rd.
Location is just blocks away from the front beach, restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. A short drive to the marina to grab lunch, fishing supplies, or walk alongside the water. House is 10 minutes to the heart of Mt. Pleasant, 10 minutes to Sullivan's Island, and 25 minutes to Historic Downtown Charleston.
The house can occupy 4 adults and 2 children. There are 2 Queen size beds and 2 twin beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, Keurig, plates, silverware, ect. Beach towels and sand toys are provided as you head to the beach for the day.
Our favorite part of the house is relaxing on the screened in porch in the rocking chairs, listening to the ocean or spending quality time with one another on our quiet street. Spend time in the fenced in back yard underneath the beautiful oak tree.

A phenomenal experience. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived—somehow not a grain of sand was in the place. Check-in/check-out were a breeze, and the hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. The cottage was perfect for us, my elderly parents, and our kids (13 and 8). The great kitchen setup made it easy to have meals in, but the restaurants on the island are all close by as well. Even better, it’s a 5-minute walk and you’re on the beach. We appreciated that the hosts had beach towels, toys, chairs, and an umbrella. But our favorite part might have been the screen porch, which was perfect for rocking and having a glass or two of wine after the kids (and elderly parents!) went to bed.

This was our first visit to the Isle of Palms and it could not have gone better. Location was a short walk to the beach and the property had everything we wanted. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I rent vacation properties twice a year. This house is a good bargain and is very charming beach house!!! The house was very clean. The host answered a concern within minutes. The kitchen is nice. my only complaint there were no pitchers in the house. We are ice .tea and lemonade drinkers. Couldn't find one anywhere in Isle of Palm!WE would rent again, making sure to bring pitchers.

The house was perfect. Everything you need. The outdoor shower was amazing, and just a short walk to the beach. Lots of time chatting in the rocking chairs on the lovely porch. Made my Girls trip amazing !
