A cool place to stay. Retro from the 1970’s but with updated furniture and comfortable beds. There was a movie being filmed at time of stay. Close to Mt Hood/10-15”. 45” to Portland. Had a great stay. The only thing that would have been nice is a peeler and larger bowls, wine opener, bottle opener, and better lighting. The lighting was only lamps, but like I said it was retro. We still enjoyed our stay a lot. The host was responsive which is important.

The condo is located just a short drive from Portland, Hood River, and the Willamette Valley. Situated on a the golf course in a small neighborhood on Mt Hood.

The property is aged. The flooring looks new but the kitchens and bathrooms are due for updating. I did not receive instructions regarding entering the property until I called the property owner and VRBO. Once contact was made, I received instructions, and entering was easy. The beds were very, very firm. Not my preference but others might like that. It is in a great location in Welches and close to ski resorts. It met our needs for a two night stay.
