Beautiful and Immaculately maintained 4 bedroom, 2-1/2 bathrooms with Glass Roof Deck and Unobstructed Water Views.
Why rent just any vacation house, when you can spend your vacation in this newer home with the most unique ocean view rooftop deck within steps to Short Sands Beach and the York Beach downtown. Located at 121 Broadway Avenue in York, this 1,800-square-foot, three-story home has four bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen, a spacious living area, 2-1/2 bathrooms.
The property is on a lockbox and I always welcome my guests at the property.
Your vacation can be as relaxing or active as you want -- there is plenty to do in York Beach. Choose Long Sands, a beautiful two mile stretch of white sandy beach, or Short Sands, known for its carousel, playground and arcade. Both beaches are just a short walk from the house.
The home is located about a half mile from the historic Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick, one of the most photographed lighthouses in the USA.
Food tastes even better in York, with a variety of restaurants -- especially seafood -- for just about every taste. Also nearby is the famous Stonewall Kitchen, whose flagship store and cooking school are based in York.
York is incredibly historic -- it was the nation's first chartered city in 1641 and the first incorporated city in 1642. History buffs should visit the Old York Historical Society in York Village, which includes a museum and the oldest jail in America. Here you can step back in time to New England colonial life 300 years ago. The living history museum of Old York encompasses nine buildings including the old jail, a schoolhouse and a tavern.

This home has an open living concept. When you enter, you will see a large family room/kitchen combo. The kitchen has all the comforts of home including a stainless steel full-size refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is loaded with cooking supplies, including a lobster pot.
The dining table can accommodate eight people, and the bar can seat four people. Connected to the kitchen is a spacious living area with flat screen television with DVD/cable, two leather sofas, and a leather chair/ottoman. The first floor has a spacious half bathroom. (Please note there are NO bedrooms on the first floor.)
The home has four bedrooms. On the second floor, there is one bedroom with two twin bunk beds and one bedroom with a queen bed…each with its own view of the ocean. There is also a covered porch with picturesque views of the ocean. The second floor has a full bathroom with bathtub and shower, as well as a convenient washer and dryer.
The third floor has two bedrooms. Awaken to a spectacular ocean view in the master bedroom, complete with a queen bed and a sofa with pull-out queen sleeper that comfortably fits two adults. This room has an abundance of windows that drench the room with ocean views. And if you’ve got business to take care of, you’ll find a quiet office cubby with a desk. The other third floor bedroom also has a queen bed with yet another spectacular view of the ocean, as well as a bathroom with shower. My family and I had a wonderful stay at this Nubble Peninsula home. The rooftop deck was our favorite gathering spot, with lovely ocean views, especially in the evenings. We enjoyed daily walks to visit Nubble Lighthouse and Short Sands Beach. The living areas were bright and comfortable, and the AC was a great break from the summer heat! The kitchen had everything we needed, and the barbecue grill was great, but I recommend replacing the Teflon fry pans. Having a bathroom on every floor was very convenient. Parking is tight, but once we figured it out, we could fit all 3 of our mid-size cars. My family and I would stay here again.

Everyone in our party agreed that they liked the modern style of the home and the natural lighting in all the rooms. The common area on the first floor is very spacious and the TV center is fantastic. We felt it was open and welcoming for all of us to gather together. We especially like that the AC worked! Also, we were very glad that there is a bathroom on each floor. The roof top deck was very nice and a fun idea, however during our stay was not well used during rainy wet weather. The placement of the washer and dryer is very convenient. The neighborhood seems quiet, the walk to Nubble and Short Sands is managable.
Suggestions- the bathroom door on the second floor doesn't seem to lock properly and maybe you would consider replacing the dirty looking bath mat in the second floor bathroom. Doesn't seem in keeping with the fresh and modern ambiance of the home over all.
The kitchen area is adequate- we like to cook in so it took some time to get ourselves organized. There is a teflon cook pot and teflon frying pan that we would suggest you consider throwing out- the teflon is so scratched that they are way beyond safely using. We were surprised that for a new modern house such old used items would be left for renters to use. Lastly, parking- not really an easy three car/ van parking situation. Not sure what you can do about it- except advise rentors that small or mid size vehicles might work well, but three SUV's, or pick up trucks or Mini Vans are going to face some logistical challenges.

The house is lovely and the location very good. I would recommend it and our stay was wonderful.
I gave it 4 stars because with cleaning and other steep fees included in the overall cost, I don't think we should have to make up the beds upon arrival, wash/dry all towels before 10am departure and sweep/take out trash on departure. May be a VRBO policy but it put
a damper on the overall experience.
