Luxury Villa Taganana

The Villa was perfectly appointed for our family of six people. Everything we needed was there and more. We particularly enjoyed the pool area and found it to be in shade until approximately 12:30 pm, although still warm. There were inflatable pool beds and some water guns provided and we also brought a few of our own, which we left for future guests enjoyment. We particularly liked the additional facilities such as the table tennis, pool table, Gym and outdoor barbecue. The master bedroom had an ensuite bathroom and a lovely balcony. The host kindly left us a bottle of bubbly and a box of chocolates, which was a lovely surprise.

We were aware at the apartment was high up a rather steep hill and we therefore planned to use taxis rather a lot but the main bins for your household rubbish are located at the very bottom of the hill, which is a bit of an inconvenience. Bedroom three would benefit from having a mirror. An Ice tray for in the freezer would also have been useful. There is Wi-Fi in the property but we discovered you have to use three different passwords, depending on which floor of the apartment you are on. None of these points detracted from our stay.

The property is a lovely, comfortable villa. It’s perfect for a family or group. There are lots of activities such as pool table and table tennis. The hosts are fantastic at this property and cannot do enough for you.

The property is very well kept. The only thing that is letting it down was the bathrooms are in need of modernisation. The location isn’t the best.

Fínn staður ef þú vilt vera langt frá bænum. Gott að slaka á og njóta þess að vera með fjölskyldunni. Stórt hús, 3 baðherbergi, sér sundlaug.

Kominn tími á að laga ýmislegt. Stólarnir og púðar við borðið mjög skítugir. Vantaði sessur í sófann sem er úti. Útisturtan virkaði ekki og flísarnar þar brotnar. Flísar byrjaðar að losna í sundlauginni. Stóra baðherbergið skítugt. Handklæðin með blettum. Vantaði hnífapör og fleiri glös og litla diska. Grillið var skítugt. Við höfðum samband við gestgjafann sem sendi aðila til að þrifa grillið. Þegar við svo kveiktum á því þá kviknaði í því þar sem það var svo mikil fita ofan í því. Gestgjafinn lofaði að láta laga útisturtuna og senda sessur í útisófann en það var ekki gert. Ég lét vita af handklæðunum, bara vinsamleg ábending og fengum handklæði daginn fyrir brottför sem við notuðum ekki.
