Short stay with friends

Great location for village facilities and easy drive to Minack for show which was main reason for visit. Extra T-towels being available was a nice bonus.

It is a shame that the dining table only has room for only 2 suitable chairs and we were disappointed at apparent lack of recycling at the property. We had misread bathroom and separate cloakroom to mean a 2nd toilet. Lots of instructions in folder but couldn't see anything for the oven and disappointed that there were looking no dishwasher tablets (left some there now). Coffee table in lounge would have been useful for playing games.

Beautifully restored cottage with car-parking in lovely village. Well equipped, cosy and really great enclosed garden for our dogs. Well equipped kitchen, everything you need is there. Perfect size for the two of us and our two dogs.

Was a good stay but could of been better organised

Spacious, clean, modern house with space for 5.

The location in St Just was perfect. An easy walk to the 4 local pubs, 2 local supermarkets and other shops & services. The village is quite old so great to find a place with ample off road parking. The property is generally very well proportioned, with an excellent kitchen & dining area that was very modern and well equipped. The lounge is lovely, plenty of room to sit for multiple people. TV had Sky Q and Netflix. Heating is oil based with radiators in all rooms. Heating worked very well and good hot water. The 3 bedrooms are good sizes, 2 doubles and a single. Comfortable beds with places to hang kit. Separate bathroom and toilet made juggling demands a little easier. Note, they are very compact & bijou. very nicely finished, clean and fresh, but not a lot of room to move. Not a major problem unless you are on the large side or mobility impaired at all. Important note is there is not a toilet downstairs and the stairs turn through 180 degrees so if you have mobility issues again then they can be a problem for anyone who needs the toilet frequently. Not going to be a problem for most people, but worth noting.

One minor criticism is the extractor hood is set quite low over the hob and anyone over about 5' 10" has to take lots of care not to smack their head into the glass of the hood. I & my husband banged our heads a few times on this. It didn't help that we couldn't even get it to work so it was even more annoying.

Despite the missing linen ( resolved quickly the next day) we had a lovely week in Rose Cottage

Location excellent, house very well equipped with good quality items and was spotlessly clean

Due to a housekeeping hiccup there was no linen for our double bed, bathmat, tea towel, washing up sponge or bin liners. As we arrived on a Sunday the linen couldn't be sorted until Monday and we had to buy a sponge and some bin liners on Monday morning.

Pleasant easy to travel around surrounding area.

Nicely decorated new furniture and cooking utensils.

Was disappointed the beds had to be made up on arrival. Some rubbish left in bedroom waste paper bins. Not sure if property given a thorough clean between let's, sinks in bathroom could have done with more than a wipe over.King Size bed a little too big for the room and double bed impossible to get to other side without climbing over the bed. Advertised for 5 people this would have been a squeeze!
