A trip to Whitby would not be the same without climbing the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. From Saltburn take in the staggering panoramas from the clifftops along the Cleveland Way walking trail which connects you with all of the nearby coastal towns and villages. Helmsley is one of the prettiest towns in the North York Moors National Park and is perfect for a day out exploring the wider area.
