Superb stay in wonderful seaside town

- Two dishwasher tablets and one toilet roll for 4 people for 5 days is not enough - Coffee maker but no coffee pods is an empty gesture - No hooks for coats or towels- we had to be inventive - On the surface, it looks great but basics are lacking and furniture is tired. For example, one bedside lamp per bed, no oven gloves (this was a problem in September 24 looking through the reviews and has still not been resolved) minimal drinking glasses, no chairs in the bedroom so no where to leave possessions. Basically in my opinion, all the same negatives are still not resolved from previous feedback. - So many messages sent using AI blagging about paying extra for late check out, private chefs, waivers to be signed- it was A LOT of information that was unnecessary. When trying to recover a lost item, there were a lot of automated messages- I was never sure if I was talking to a human or a robot which was hugely frustrating so call if you have a problem. Would I stay again? If the price was right, yes, but it would have to be a good deal and I would bring toilet roll!!!

Lovely location with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes near by. Could have been cleaner than it was.

Could have been alot clearer then it was. Tea towel was very stained more like cleaning cloth, dust in areas which were reachable, carpet didn’t seem to have been hoovered and lots of marks on it right when you walk in which isn’t the best thing to see first. The shower also needed a good scrub, lots of mould both black and orange.

Overall a great location and good value for money.

The property was in a great location and was beautifully furnished and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Some of the dishes and cutlery were dirty and there were only three glasses (apart from wine glasses). This was ok for us but it would have been difficult if there were four or five staying in the apartment. Also, it would be great if, alongside the dishcloths etc., a tea towel would have been provided. It’s been years since I’ve stayed at a self catering place that didn’t provide this so I hadn’t packed one.

Really modern and clean . Right in the centre of Saltburn. Tastefully decorated. Easy check in.

A lot of messages sent by host on different formats made it feel very corporate eg offering early check in for extra fee or private chef. Only one coffee pod for machine!

Great apartment and base to explore Saltburn-by-the-sea. Lovely and clean, beds are comfortable and it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Excellent communication with the hosts too. Thank you for a lovely week.

Not great if you don’t like stairs as there are 3 flights to climb. Not a problem for us though.

Fabulous comfortable stay in top location!

Fabulous flat. Have stayed in Saltburn a few times including a certain hotel. This was the best one yet. So much space and so quiet. Has everything you need. It is above a charming pub but you can't hear anything. Just a minutes' walk away from the excellent Italian and Thai restaurants, also shops, supermarket and the cliff lift. A real winner!

lovely spacious living area/kitchen, clean, light, modern, quiet. Large comfortable bed too. It's above a pub, but don't be put off - it's a quiet pub and the apartment is 2 floors above, so very quiet.

too much (auto generated?) communication prior to our stay, which has the effect of creating anxiety...(new message from etc.) Keep it simple and please dont communicate on different platforms. I didn't realise the keycode was in a text message. Though fine for us, a family would find the amount of cutlery rather small.

Amazing location, spacious flat, stinks of wet dog.

The property was spacious, and really lovely decor. It had a Nespresso coffee machine which was just what we needed. There was a high chair for meal time and it was perfectly placed in the centre of saltburn.

On arrival, we had not been issued with the key code to get into the property, which required us to call the host, once we got in the property it was 13.5 degrees, absolutely freezing!!! I had two small children and it took until about midnight for the property to warm up. Then when we eventually went to bed it stunk of sweaty feet / wet dog. It was foul, I contacted the host via booking.com and was assured someone would come and changed the bedding, this did not happen. The carpet was covered in stains and it did not look like the property had been cleaned properly for a long time. I when to use the hoover and once again was hit with the stench of wet dog. The filtre of the hoover clearly hadn’t ever been cleaned. The website advertises that the property is above a family friendly pub. Probably worth calling out they have live bands on, which we actually really enjoyed but it was a miracle the kids slept through it.

Perfect for my two night stay in Saltburn for a late midweek break

The location, ease of parking close by to the apartment and access to Saltburn town with its abundance of cafes, restaurants and lovely local shops. The apartment is modern, beautifully furnished making it really pleasant place to relax after a long day walking the local area

The excessive security deposit with admin charge could have swayed me to look at an alternative option

OK, love Saltburn but we have stayed in better properties. Despite that our cleaner was lovely!

Carpets need replacing. Pics of 2nd bedroom confusing - one showed 2 twins, another a 1.5 bunk bed; turned out it was a 1.5 bunk bed which is pretty rickety with 2 adults in there...maybe good for kids? Main bed mattress too soft / past it.

I loved the property. I loved the location. We had a lovely stay and the property is great very spacious and the facilities are excellent. Such a shame I couldn't give the property a 10 and all because it was let down by the cleanliness. It wasn't filthy and I would definitely stay again but I would expect better. I don't go away and expect to wipe surfaces down and pick up sweet wrappers left by other guests. That said I would definitely stay again.

the location is great.

This was our third visit to these apartments. last twice was amazing, however standards have slipped. Had to clean the bathroom before use and no welcome pack as previous. Entrance hall grubby, peeling wallpaper and electrics on show, definitely not safe if children staying. Also host and stay used a previous credit card from my previous booking last year, which should not be kept on their system. I emailed about this numerous times and ignored.

Disappointing

The apartment itself was lovely, beautifully decorated throughout and clean. The location was fantastic for exploring Saltburn.

I would have rated our stay very highly, up until our final evening I couldn't fault it. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night over the Coronation weekend with our almost 1 year old daughter. The apartment we stayed in is directly above the Victoria pub, on the Sunday evening there was a live band playing from 9pm-11pm and the music rang through the entire apartment waking my daughter, it was so loud and impossible to sleep through. There really should be some mention of this in the description because it happens every weekend, so it's really not suitable to stay with small children if you're trying to put them to bed. As lovely as the apartment was, if we'd have been aware of this we would have booked somewhere else.

The central location makes it easy to move around the local area. The apartment is light and airy with nice extra touches like a coffee machine and cleaning products .

This property is advertised as NO PETS ALLOWED but on arrival it was clear that this is not the case and dogs are allowed which worked out very badly for us. I had specifically requested a pet free property as my husband has allergies. The bean bag is clearly a 'dog bed' and there were dog hairs on the furniture and carpets. Tv remote has been used as a chew toy. Our stay was uncomfortable as a result. Host and Stay dealt with our complaint poorly- couldn't offer alternative accommodation or a refund.

The sitting room is on the top floor and is lovely and light and airy but as it has velux windows you can't look out while you are sitting at the dining table or sofa.

really close to beach and shops. train and bus stop is only 5 mins walk.

it could have been a little cleaner, bed comforter had small holes in it.We couldn’t put the heat on as the thermostat was blinking all the time, so it was cold in the apartment .
