    The hotel was located some 5-10 mins from Hakata Station, opposite a mega mall with GU and ABC Mart. It was also walkable distance to the infamous Dacomecca. There was a 7-11 conveniently next to the hotel room The hotel staff were friendly and spoke in perfect conversational English. The rooms were larger than some newer hotels which we were happy about. There was a complimentary ice maker machine and water dispenser outside the hotel corridor which was perfect for summer.

    We use this hotel as our base for this trip and we had this interesting encounter. Sawada-san was always at the front desk whenever we check in and out throughout. I jokefully asked if Hotel provided accomodation(one of the rooms) for him. He explained that it turns out his off day happen to coincide with the days we are on short trips. He always greet us politely and it is comforting not needing to repeat ourselves, he know our profile well and bring out our luggage we deposited during out getaways. At the end we are pleased that he also attended to us, he booked us taxi and see us off the japanese way. We are blessed.

    About 3 mins walk to Hakata station where there are lots to shop. Hotel provides cleaning only if your stay is 3 nights or more. It's about 10 to 15 minutes drive to the airport. Amenities are available in a buffet style at the lobby.

    The hotel is in an excellent location, just about 350 meters from Hakata Station, which is incredibly convenient if you are utilizing a 3- to 5-day JR Pass. The rooms are around 20 square meters, providing plenty of space for two people to move around comfortably, even with large luggage. The only downside is their eco-cleaning policy. They do not provide full room cleaning for the first 3 days of your stay, though fresh towels and toiletries are provided daily in exchange for your used ones. I might have overlooked this detail when booking, but considering the higher price point of this hotel, I would have preferred daily room cleaning. If daily housekeeping is important to you, keep this policy in mind. Otherwise, it's a convenient stay.
