Pepem Holistic Experience - Peaceful Retreat Near Tulum

We had such a wonderful, personal, and unforgettable experience at this hotel. From the moment my sisters and I arrived, we were warmly welcomed in the lobby. Despite our last-minute request, the staff graciously accommodated us for the temazcal experience — something we will never forget. Pedro, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for us. He worked hard to fit us into the temazcal ceremony and helped coordinate taxis for our last-minute requests. His kindness and effort made a big difference in our stay. Our shaman, Miguel, was incredibly thoughtful and made us feel safe and supported throughout the entire ceremony. He took his time to explain the process and guided us through a deeply spiritual and healing journey. A highlight of our stay was the food. Chef Adam E. curated and prepared the most delicious meals for us on both nights. He even came to our table to share how each dish was made, adding such a personal and thoughtful touch to our dining experience. We also loved staying in the bungalow — a magical setting where we could see fireflies dancing around the room through the glass walls. Surrounded by jungle sounds and nature, it truly felt like an escape into a serene, hidden paradise. This trip was special in every way, and we’re so grateful for the memories we made here.

Amazing staff and most relaxing chill vibes

WOW! Staying at Pepem Holistic Experience was so wonderful. Pedro, Chef Adam and the whole staff made the overall experience welcoming, friendly, relaxing and easy and effortless. We stayed at Jungle Villa Kukulcan and ate some incredible food. Chef Adam is so talented and such a warm and authentic presence! I can't wait to come back to Pepem and host my own yoga retreat one day, as it is a beautiful space for healing experiences. We highly recommend this magical haven in the Mayan jungle. We spent three nights at Pepem and we absolutely loved it. Our room was in the « jungle » and we had a beautiful swimming pool. You could wake up to the sounds of the animals of the forest. The ambiance and style of the hotel is amazing. You really feel connected to nature. The highlight of our trip was our chef. We have eaten in a lot of fancy places but I can tell you that our chef’s food was on another level! Lot’s of flavor and colors! He was always available for a little talk and gave us many tips for our vacation. We saw comments regarding insects in the rooms: you are in the jungle, so obviously, you may have a few insects in your room. Our recommandation is just to close doors/windows/mostiquo net and avoid putting your lights on at night and you will survivre! We also comments regarding the fact that the windows cannot be locked, we confirm however, we felt secure to be honest. The staff made us feel like family, we would recommend the place for the retreats they are planning on doing!
