    Awesome hotel with great staff and great location! I rented a car from the airport and it was an easy drive to Docklands. Parking at the car park opposite is cheap and I even left my car parked there and took the free tram. Breakfast was awesome and staff was extremely friendly and kind. Last but not least, the infinity pool was beautiful. Me and my kids spent hours there in the heated pool even in the cold of winter!

    Stayed at Marriott Docklands with my family recently. The location was great, and I can’t fault the check-in and check-out process, which was smooth and efficient. Unfortunately, the service throughout the stay was disappointing and let the hotel down. When we arrived, there was no body wash in the bathroom. I called reception to request some, but nothing arrived, and I eventually had to go down to reception myself to get it sorted. This became a recurring issue during the stay. I called multiple times for assistance and often nobody answered the phone, forcing me to go down to reception in person on more than one occasion. There were also several maintenance and housekeeping issues. The drain was clogged when we arrived, and opening our room door to find someone still finishing the cleaning was quite a jumpscare. The air conditioning also stopped working at one point before eventually coming back on. In the shower, part of a tile was sticking out and looked like it needed repair. There was no proper hand wash provided, only a bar of soap, and the hair dryer seemed very old and overdue for replacement. For a hotel in this price range and under the Marriott brand, I expected much better attention to detail and customer service. Having to repeatedly go down to reception because phones weren’t being answered and requests weren’t being actioned was frustrating and inconvenient. While the location was nice, the overall service experience means I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. ⭐⭐☆☆☆
