    Helen and Leo really helped us with our concerns. Service was excellent. Even after we checked out earlier during the day, the staff let us rest in the lounge when we came back to get our luggage.

    Surrounding area has nothing to walk to. Would be better staying near the High Speed Rail, than staying near the Taichung train station. Both stations are not close apart. The hotel itself has great service, including breakfast, snacks and dinner (from 8pm). Considering the sleepy neighbourhood, I really appreciated having this hotel as a base to head to other areas like Sun Moon Lake and Alishan. You can come back without worrying about shops nearby closing. The location has a few traditional cake shops nearby, good for buying souvenirs. Otherwise, it's in a very boring and disorganised neighborhood.
