    Rinn is first rate in value, service, quality and cleanliness. I will stay nowhere other than a Rinn property when I am in Kyoto.

    Very clean! Very clean! Very clean! Very impression! Staffs are very nice, I forgot to ask the receptionist name, but she is very friendly and helpful. If you want a room between ryokan and modern, this is the one. I love the bathroom, water from the faucet is super strong and relaxing. Tips: if you need the amenities (toothpaste, toothbrush, coffee, etc) you have to get them right next to the front desk before you go to the room. If you want to check-out before their check-out time, they will let you keep your luggages inside the room, they will move them out for you later. Remember: come back to get it before 9pm.

    This establishment offers a big and spacious room, a full size tub and a comfortable bed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Amenities like microwave oven and washing machine, filter water dispenser are provided although it is not in the room. Apart from the slightly pricy nightly rate plus Kyoto accommodation tax, this place, this is a great place to stay while exploring Kyoto. There is a great little restaurant that sells great gyoza around the corner which makes this place easier to recommend.

    The best aspect of the hotel was its staff… all were friendly and helpful. The bath/toilet were poorly appointed however, was awkward to dry our towels. To top off, the room clean / towel replacement was limited or had to be specifically requested each day.
