    The hotel itself was very dated and it was not value for money at all. The room was very small, we had trouble opening the toilet door and getting in. The carpets had a stuffy smell. At night they had an event where local Shepherd made crafts with sheep hair with kids so that was fun.

    I recently stayed here with my family (2 adults and 2 children), and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing and stressful experience. Room Layout & Facilities Despite booking for four people, we were placed in a Japanese-style room with only three beds, forcing us to squeeze together. Even more shocking was the lack of a private shower. We were informed the only way to bathe was to use the communal onsen facilities. This was not clearly communicated during booking and was a major inconvenience for a family. Emergency Response & Safety (Major Concern) The most distressing part of our stay occurred near midnight when a fire evacuation alarm and PA system announcement went off. The announcements were only in Japanese, leaving us confused and panicked. Upon reaching the lobby, the situation worsened: Language Barrier: The General Manager could not communicate with foreign guests in English to explain what was happening. Lack of Protocol: The GM actually had to ask another tourist to translate and even had that guest make the announcement over the PA system to inform everyone it was a false alarm. Final Verdict The lack of emergency protocols and the inability of management to communicate during a crisis is unacceptable. I would not trust this hotel’s ability to keep guests safe during a natural disaster or a real fire. Between the poor room arrangement and the chaotic safety response, I cannot recommend staying here.
