JIM & DONNA. Firstly, they have the biggest ever room for hotels in that price range. Secondly, Jim gives a detailed history of the town of Ogdensburg. He is such a nice person. Thirdly, every single room is named after US President that visited Ogdensburg. Fourthly, mattress, pillows, beddings and towels are soft and luxurious. Lastly, Donna's breakfast is amazing. I certainly you must experience this school-converted-to-hotel. I paid more at Bonnie Castle, the cleanliness was just so unacceptable. Choose Sherman Inn.

I had a wonderful stay and would happily give this place 5 stars.
The property has a very unique and colorful atmosphere. There are books everywhere, a fantastic library, a large outdoor pool, and an amazing playroom for children that even includes a small stage. It feels like a place designed with creativity and family enjoyment in mind. The breakfasts were delicious, and the unlimited selection of tea and coffee was a lovely touch. The host was also very attentive about breakfast times—just make sure not to arrive late, or you might miss out on all the delicious food! 😊
If I could offer one small suggestion, it would be regarding some of the furnishings and linens. While everything appeared to be cleaned and well cared for, some items felt quite old, which can sometimes give the impression of being less fresh than they actually are. A few updates in this area could make the overall experience feel even more comfortable and inviting.
Overall, this is a charming and memorable place with a warm atmosphere, and I truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hospitality

I was traveling with my son to visit family. The inn is welcoming and cozy. Breakfast was amazing. Full guest kitchen available.

The owners are exceptional gave a great tour and history of the Inm. rooms were wonderful breakfast was great I highly recommend and would return
