A nice hotel that was close to the water and had an easy bus or walking route to get to the city center. The self-check in was simple and straight forward, and we liked how there were lockers available if you wanted to store luggage. It was by far our most expensive hotel for our Spain trip, but I think that might just be the cost of living in San Sebastián rather than the hotel itself.

Accomodation in a converted building - finished to a high standard. Coffee/Tea making facilities in the room and in the reception area. Parking nearby 5 - 10 min walk - if travelling by car you can pull in to drop off luggage then go and park. The recommended parking is public parking Ondaretta has a 1.95m height limit, if you need more the Metropole Hotel has parking with 2.3m clearance - similiar distance from the Uma Suites. Beach and cafes within a. min walk - The walk to the old town is about 25 minutes along the promenade - the area feels safe and friendly. Highly recommend as a base for San Sebastián/Donostia Check in is automatic, not working when we arrived, the team had sorted this out with entry code and keycard in a lockbox. Clean and well presented. Well done - highly recommend the accomodation.

Room was clean and suitable for a night stay. We came in at around 9 pm so we did self check-in. Instructions were in Spanish so had to google translate though check in itself was easy enough. We had to go around twice to find parking though it says in the listing that there was parking available.
