We stayed in an apartment not the hotel. It was clearly newly renovated. Very nice and spacious, situated adjacent to the hotel. Staff was helpful. No complaints on that front.
However, the location was a bit seedy and outside of the tourist area, 4 metro stops away. Taking the metro was quick and easy but we did not like the vibe in the square where the metro was located.

The best thing about our stay was without doubt the staff. They were friendly, helpful and above all professional. The hotel is very close to the metro which is a cheap and convenient way of exploring the city. Our room was clean and comfortable with an excellent balcony. It is worth paying a little more for a superior room.
A special thanks to Ana, who met us on arrival and gave us so much good advice and information about the city. Raul and Diogo were also great. Nothing was too much trouble and they organised our transport on departure. Without hesitation we would book this hotel again. Thank you all!!

It was a little farther than we wanted to be from the main town, but we were still able to walk so that didn’t end up being a problem. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in navigating the town and allowing us to keep our bags there for an extended time after check out while we finished our touring of Porto.
