I just stayed here for one night as I was passing through the area at the start of my holiday. Very friendly staff and being a family run business I was allowed to place my motorcycle in the family garage.

I didn’t read check in requirements and arrived at 11:30. I should have been there by 7! No problem though. I suppose I got lucky. It’s an unusual early check in requirement that should be noted.

I was looking for inexpensive lodging in the Huertgen Forest Battle area and this was it.Great location near big lake/dam,nice views from my balcony .Room quite dark and basic but clean -strong chemical smell from shower /toilet room. Generally a bit tired but great location,free parking in front for me and friendly host

We had a poor experience with this property. We booked a room a week before the stay and received a call at 10 am the day of the check-in that the room was no longer available due to a booking system issue, which we accepted. Then we got an email a few minutes later that another room was available as a replacement, to which we responded in appreciation to the host. We started driving to the property but arrived later than initially communicated, around 5 pm in the afternoon. Ten minutes before we were there, the property manager called us to state that we didn't show up in time, and now the room was no longer available, and they canceled our booking. Overall, it was an unpleasant and confusing experience.

Host / owner is very nice and helpfull. Hotel needs a renovation here and there. It's dated but (very) clean. The room I had was with lakeside, top to sit on your balcony and enjoy.

Extremely friendly and accommodating host. Very easy going and uncomplicated service. No frills, very clean room, comfy bed, small bathroom, good shower. Quiet area. Breakfast buffett (for added fee) looked great (we already had other plans tho).
