Very good price/quality ratio and a pleasant stay. We plan to return for more than one day.
We booked Hotel Alber spontaneously for a night, knowing it from previous times. We got a nice room with a very comfy queen size bed without the typical annoying open space when single beds are just pushed together. The balcony provided the breathtaking view to the Val d'Adige. We decided to have dinner at the hotel and we were delighted with quality, taste and freshness.
The breakfast filled the stomach, though we have seen better. Eggs, for example, were not offered at all, perhaps because we were the first in the breakfast room due to an early start. TV in the room provided exclusively Italian channels (apart from one South Tyrolian). At least one international news channel would have been nice. The completely new built funicular summit station grew so massive that it takes some of the panoramic view directly at the hotel, but this is of course not in the host's responsibility.

Läget, vyerna, atmosfären... och de andra gästerna. Trevligt! Ljuddämpad byggnad - tyst! Stabil frukost, mer tysk än sött italiensk, och gott kaffe. Lite stabbiga kvällsmenyer, men gott (kallt) öl och bra vin till. Rymligt rum. Fick låna garage till motorcykeln
Wifi var snabbt, men utan lösenord, vilket gör det sårbart och osäkert att använda. Restaurangen är inte riktigt på nivå med hotelldelen, så under en längre vistelse kan det vara trevligt att söka alternativ.

Beim Frühstück hat es an nichts gefehlt, große Auswahl an Brot und Brötchen, an Wurst, hausgemachte Hirschsalami 👌🏼 Käse, Marmelade, Honig und Joghurt 👍🏼 Super Lage, schöne Aussicht auf die Alpen von meinem Zimmer aus

Heerlijk eten, maar badkamer behoeft aanpassing
Heel gastvrij en vriendelijk personeel. Alles is mogelijk. We hadden halfpension geboekt. Het eten was voortreffelijk. Ook een goed ontbijt.
De kamer was gedateerd. Het balkon keek uit op een paar struiken. De badkamer was verschrikkelijk. Die is heel erg klein. De deur draaide naar binnen en dat hielp ook niet mee. Als je op het toilet ging zitten, moest je de douchedeur openschuiven zodat een knie in de douche kon. De breedte was ongeveer 54 cm.
