    A favorite among BNSF freight train conductors for its relaxed atmosphere and 24/7 breakfast bar/kitchen. Not a bland family-oriented joint by any means but a slice of working class community. A little tough around the edges but my room was comfortable and clean and the rest of the motel is clean enough to be comfortable.

    We recommend avoiding this hotel. When we arrived it was not clear where the office was. We walked around the entire property and eventually found the office behind an unmarked door and a filthy anteroom with junk and construction material all over the floor. In the office, which was dumpy to say the least, there was no one at the desk. Another guest suggested that we use the courtesy phone on the wall to contact a staff person. When the staff person arrived she stood behind a door that was ajar eating food out of a bowl ignoring us. When we signaled to her she continued to ignore us. Eventually a second staff person arrived who turned out to be a trainee who required extensive help from the first staff person to process our prepaid booking. We were given a room with an interior facing window. The room was tired, outdated and barely passable. We returned to the office to ask for a room with an exterior facing window that we could open. The staff person smiled and said: none of the windows in this place open. We found the place to be unclean and the staff to be unfriendly. We left and found other accommodation in town forfeiting our prepayment to Campbell Lodge. All in all our experience with Campbell Lodge was unpleasant and downright creepy.
