Overall okay. Staff rather helpful. Except one lady ((Maya): I asked from the room service downstairs for a tiny cup of milk to have a few drops in my tea in my room. The men serving there were helpful and gave me what I requested. But she refused and wanted to have me pay for the drops of milk. I understand the staff have instructions. But honestly this attitude of hers is shocking in a Four Stars Hotel, pretty mean. It does not reflects well on the hotel. Apart from that the staff were helpful (men and women). In the dining room: Jay and Abdullah, very nice and happy to serve.

The staff were friendly, which was the only positive part of my stay. The sofabed, however, was dreadful — every tiny movement made loud squeaking noises, making it impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. I hadn’t planned to book breakfast, but the front desk staff convinced me, saying it was a “really good continental breakfast.” I paid upfront for the whole stay — and instantly regretted it. The breakfast was shockingly bad, to the point that after trying it on the first morning, I didn’t go back for the rest of my stay. Overall, I left extremely disappointed. Friendly staff aside, I won’t be staying here again or recommending it to anyone.

I loved the experience. The room was very big with a sofa in it, super comfortable bed. But the best part is about the people working there. Everyone is very welcoming. Mary that served me at the restaurant is an awesome heart. The people working during the night shift delighted me delivering extra water (I asked for one bottle and they got me two), coffee 24 hours served by a very gentle guy that came all the way to my room just to give me the receipt that I forgot. A lot of cure for small details that makes you feel very cared for. Ladies at reception with great smiles and so kind!

The hotel was elegant, quiet and the room service was good and it was done perfectly on daily basis but my room was felt humid all of the time especially the carpet was always felt wet, my clothes also felt wet all of the time. I talked to receptionist about this inconvenience matter with humidity and he offered me to change my room to sunny side but I preferred to stay until my check out because I was lazy to collect my stuff, move them to the other room and wast my priceless time in uae. I also had feeling that the other room might be the same with humidity issue.

If I could leave zero stars I would, I was attending the conference as a speaker at the expo so I booked this hotel because of it’s distance to the expo. I booked the executive suite, highest room category, obviously comfort is important to me, on the day of my event I woke up with horrible back pain from the mattress, hotel did nothing to alleviate the situation and offered to turn the matteess upside down, I checked out early and booked another hotel. Usually I never leave negative reviews because user expectations are different and these reviews could hurt a business but the way management dealt with me as “you’ve already paid for your entire stay not our problem anymore” had to put this review, perhaps higher management will take action and protect there business then to let incompetent people run it.

Stayed at Novotel for race weekend with my sister, who was participating in one of the events. The parking situation was a bit confusing at first, but the staff were super friendly and helped us get checked in quickly. We stayed in a suite—it was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only downside was that the hallway leading to the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which was a shame. Other than that, everything was perfectly fine and the location was great for event access!

Why I have not rated 5 starts as few staff at the hotel lack of support and customer service skills was not to a satisfactory standard at the front reception desk. However the hotel manager Magde was exceptional as he attentively listened to all my concerns and provided prompt solutions to all my issues. On arrival our meet and greet to the hotel after a very long flight was appalling by the reception staff who wasn't pleased to see us or welcome us for check in since she stated they are fully booked and we have arrived too early. This was not a great welcome or a good start to our family holiday. Overall majority of staff are brilliant only few do ruin this for the hotel as they have very poor customer service skills when dealing with guests like myself on a face to face basis. The housekeeping staff were brilliant who provided anything we required at any time especially think her name was Poonam?
