    Unfortunately due to double typhoon cannot see fuji san. Hopefully next trip will see it.

    Good experience overall. The hotel is walking distance from the train station. This hotel is probably the meet up for Mt. Fuji hikers. Laundry is available at first level and breakfast can be chaotic if you bump into big groups. The small Wine and Spirits shop just next to hotel is the best. Had a very good dinner and loads of drinks here. The owner is very nice and their recommendations of wine is superb.

    I didn’t have a very good experience staying at this hotel. The property felt quite dated, with a noticeable old smell throughout. The lift was very small, which made moving luggage a bit inconvenient. The room size was average, but the bathroom was the typical compact Japanese style, so it felt quite tight overall. Parking was not included, and we had to pay 800 yen, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was Japanese style with limited options, nothing particularly memorable. On the positive side, the location is close to a JR station, which is convenient. Our room also had a view of Mount Fuji, which was nice. However, the surrounding area felt quite empty—almost like a newly developed, desert-like zone. There’s basically no neighborhood around, just a large circus tent nearby, and no convenience stores within walking distance. You really need a car to get around comfortably. Service was another downside. The staff weren’t rude, but they also weren’t very helpful. We were left to figure out the check-in machine on our own, which was quite difficult as foreigners. Overall, if I had other options, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
