We loved our stay at Hotel Lake Shore. We originally booked three nights as we hadn’t firmed up our travel plans. But after the first day we realized this was the perfect base to explore Pokhara.
This is a comfortable, family owned hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but our room had a view of Lake Fewa and from our balcony we could see the mountains. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with our tea every morning.
Every place we wanted to go was an easy walking distance, plus the hotel set us up with a 1/2 day trip to Begnas Lake.
The best part of Hotel Lake Shore is the people. The manager, Sanjog, made sure we were comfortable and took care of everything we needed. Everyone on the staff greeted us each time we passed through the lobby.
We’re vegan and though they didn’t have nondairy milk, we brought our own and they generously steamed it for our coffee every day.
I would definitely stay here again if I return to Pokhara.

After a long time, I had the chance to stay at Hotel Lakeshore, and I have to say—this place is a hidden gem in Lakeside! From the balcony of our room, we had the most breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. It was absolutely mesmerizing and made our stay feel extra special.
My partner and I spent just one night here, but we loved every moment. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—shops and restaurants are just a short walk away, yet the hotel feels peaceful and secluded, with nature all around.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We also used the hotel's airport shuttle service, which was really convenient.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily come back. If you're looking for a place with stunning views, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere, this is it! Highly recommend.
