A wonderful home base for our small family to explore the Lake District. Easy drive to Ambleside and Coniston with great walks from the doorstep. We were so grateful to be able to self cater when local restaurants are all pretty expensive. The kitchen was well stocked but could use a bottle opener. Very well designed small space with a dishwasher and washing machine! Beds were comfy but the shower left a lot to be desired. However, for the price and being able to have a whole flat rather than a hotel room when travelling with a child made for a really pleasant stay. We would definitely stay again if back in the area.
