City Park Hotel Manila

​I always book this hotel whenever I have an important event in Taguig, and it never disappoints. The location is perfect and saves me so much travel time. It manages to deliver a clean, high-end, and premium experience without the premium price tag. What really sets it apart, though, is the accommodating and helpful staff. The only thing to be aware of is that basement parking is limited, so be prepared to manage that if you're driving. Still, it remains my top recommendation for the area.

Staff are the best especially front desk and security

We booked our stay at this hotel for 4D and 3N. When we arrived, honestly I was stumped cause the outside of the hotel didn't exactly look like one that was inviting...needless to say I was suspicious and disappointed at first sight, that I had my husband request to check the room we'll be staying in before we proceeded. For context, my husband and son both have severe allergic rhinitis and tend to get hives around dirt, dust and strong odors. I was, at the least, praying it was clean. I was dead wrong. I guess you really shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Sure the reception/lobby, parking, and their elevator could do with a bit more work but that's where it all ends for my areas for improvement. When we got to our room, I was very surprised! The room had a quaint minimalist-brutalist design, which I loved. It was more so a studio apartment rather than just a room. We had a spacious living area, a dining area and the far end of the wall housed 2 full sized double beds. Even the bathroom can fit another twin bed. The whole space was clean, sheets were fresh and the towels were soft and clean (I loved the towels and used it as a shawl when it got to cold). We also appreciated the quiet and didn't hear the sounds of vehicles passing despite it being located along the main thoroughfare. Their staff were all super friendly and were quick to respond to whatever we needed help with. Another plus is, their wifi is pretty good, especially for remote workers like us, although there were instances that the wifi on our floor fluctuated but it's fine cause there were other wifi options. They don't have their own restaurant, but food options in the vicinity was bountiful. There's a 7-11 downstairs that had an atm inside, restaurants were nearby (fast food and local options) and it's less than 10 min by car to BGC high street. What they lacked in the exterior, they made up for in the guest experience. Kudos!!!
