    Off the beaten track, which allows you to chill out for a few days and read a book etc. Lovely hosts and if you just want a few days of peace and quiet consider this hotel.

    We had a great time at the Wasana Resort. The food was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the host was very engaging and friendly.

    Lovely bungalows, even with air conditioning these days. Fresh towels, bottled water, and coffee bags every day. Excellent value for money. The owner is the customer-focused and incredibly kind old Dutch "rocker" B(oudewijn) and his Thai wife. He also prepares delicious meals. You can borrow bikes for free. Restaurants and shops are nearby. Hornbills in the garden. Within walking distance of the campsite entrance to Laem National Park. Bo can also arrange a boat day trip for B3000/boat or B750/person for 4 people, including lunch, to three of the heavenly Bounty Islands of Laem NP. The advantage of being so close is that you're the first on the islands in the morning. Wasana Resort is highly recommended!

    Honestly, the property is beautiful with a nice location for viewing nature. Biggest problem was finding ants and gecko droppings in the bed upon my arrival. Having ants and geckos in the room isn't a deal breaker for me— it's just the reality of having a home in Thailand. But having an unclean bed and dirty floor immediately upon my arrival was not ideal for me.
