Great location and a great room - I can't believe we were right in the heard of the city and the room was as quite as it was. You could hear a pin drop. Bed was very comfortable and the room was really cool. Would def. stay again.

Zero communication. They don't respond to any calls. Cobwebs everywhere. There's no shower. You can only bathe in the bathtub, and if you try to use the showerhead, water leaks out of the pipe and wets the entire floor. The accommodations are beautiful. That's what makes us choose this loft without breakfast.

I knew better booking something with hotels.com but since we were on the way, and I knew I would not have to cancel, I thought it was fine. We stood outside the vacant-looking building for an hour calling the number listed and emailing the owner. I never received any message with the code to get in the building. I verified that I had been given the correct number from guests exiting the building but there was never an answer. We finally walked next-door and checked into the Hilton. have still heard nothing. Now to figure out how to get my money back….

Quirky designer apartment. Mine had no kitchen but supplied with excellent coffee machine and coffee pods, mini fridge, plates and utensils. Great bed, lovely marble bathroom, plenty of towels, good hot water pressure. Excellent location to historical center. Uber worked well.

Well decorated room with separate living and sleeping areas. Location couldn’t be bettered. Very clean. Only downside was the double glazing on the street side wasn’t up to blocking out the lively night life!

Downside is there is no front desk or any staff for that matter if you need assistance. We weren’t given bathrobes although it was listed in the amenities online, the shower head was flimsy and didn’t stay upright and there were exposed wall wires by the vanity/sink mirror. For a property listed as ‘luxury’ you would expect better. Other than that it was a pleasant stay the vibe of the room is great and looks like the picture nice and spacious also the location is perfect close to dinning and shopping.

This is an apart-hotel and not an hotel. No reception, no help with baggage, and very difficult to communicate with anyone if help is needed. The entrance is a tiny black door and a tiny corridor to the elevator. Room was spacious with a comfortable bathroom, but when in the room you need to go down a few steps to the living room and then up a few steps to the bedroom. An app on your phone opens the front door and the bedroom door. Over all a very stressful experience.

Amazing little hotel. This is a not your typical hotel with a lobby, or staff on site. These are perfectly decorated and furnished apartments. Coffee makes, wine and champagne glasses, wine opener, Everything is remote, the keys are transmitted to you electronically. But everything works flawlessly. And the apartment is adorable, very comfy bed, couch, huge TV, awesome shower. If it had a kitchen you could live here.

It was my first trip to Antwerp, so I was unfamiliar with the town. I prefer boutique, quirky type accommodation where possible. This hotel fitted the bill! (Unfortunately for me) I had an important video call for work whilst there but the free wifi was faultless. I would highly recommend it to other travellers. If I ever return to Antwerp, this very high standard ‘home from home’ accommodation would be my choice. Thank you.

We loved our stay here. It was an amazing location and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. It’s more like an apartment vacation rental as there’s no lobby, front desk, etc but the staff was always available and attentive!

A very good apart-hotel, beautiful interior fitout. The app is very useful, and explains how to use all the amenities in the room. The hotel is more beautiful than the pictures online. The room was very very big. Staff are very attentive and helpful, replying to WhatsApp messages quickly. The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk from the metro and close walk to Antwerps popular shopping city. If I had to be very picky, the only thing I would say is that some features offered online and via Expedia are outdated. For example, Expedia offer pay at the property however this is not possible as there is no concierge desk. So they will charge your card full payment a few days before your stay. Also, we were told a welcome bottle of champagne on check in, which we did not get. Also, the room was told to have SONOS (surround speakers) which we later found out is no longer a feature for their rooms. The websites need updating. However, that was not enough to ruin our stay. It was amazing and we will definitely be coming back.

No human being attended, also they don't have a luggage storage, I had a headache after chek out. 1 or 2 hours in Antwerpen with my luggages, I was in hell. The only down thing was to my surprised finding a closed hotel and it works mainly as apartment/BNB type of thing so there is no really amenities. It was a surprised as I expected to find an open hotel as I thought I had booked. But definitely room was amazing and very big. I do understand that if hotel was open probably the suite I had booked I would have paid double the price. Location is amazing!!! Is very unfortunate that hotel was closed as is a beautiful property.

The property is well located with tram links near by and close to a lot of the sight seeing locations within the town. Check in is easy and contactless however there is no bag storage as advertised on the property page. This is likely due to the fact that there is no front desk/reception. Further housekeeping is not advertised as at a surcharge however when you inquiry for housekeeping to take place there is a fee of €29. This should be noted as at surcharge on the booking page. The hotel is more of an Airbnb rather than a traditional hotel.

This is a very stylish place and well worth the money. The sitting area is recessed with marble steps going down to it and up to the bedroom. The step corners are sharp so it would be dangerous if an elderly person slipped and fell on them. The choice of white carpet is not wise as it was slightly soiled. The ornaments are beautiful but could be easily broken, so it is no place for a young child. The system of electronic keys on your cell phone seemed problematic to us if your cell phone died. Fortunately they gave us a normal plastic room key. We found the instructions for entering the building a bit confusing as there were a number of black doors. That said, the bed is very comfortable, the location ideal, the shower great, the maid and manager very accommodating.

Parked the car in underground lot “Parking Indigo Antwerpen Groenplaats”. From there, Gulde Schoen was only a two minute walk. Using a link sent by staff to my phone earlier, it was easy to unlock to front door and room soor. The room was a large suite and was spotless and beautiful. A large bedroom, impressive bathroom, separate large sitting room with separate TV…a very impressive suite. We loved the location: so close to restaurants, the cathedral and see I much more. Highly recommended.

On the outside, this property has the glitzy looks but it misses anything to do with hospitality, care and service. Any request for extra (kitchen) amenities, flexible check in/out times and luggage storage got denied in a bot-like manner. Running a hotel/apartment takes more than adding shiny decorations to your facility. Once but never again.

I’m very confused about this hotel and our stay there. We chose this hotel because we saw it form the outside as we were walking through the city, and we thought it was very pretty and special. We went online to checkout the rooms and all the details and we still thought it was super pretty and special; that’s why we decided to book it. So first of all, it was super very expensive, but since it was only one night we decided we wouldn’t mind paying this high rate. When my fiancé and I got there We were immediately confused: even though it was nice and pretty, it wasn’t enough, not enough for what we payed. The room was super big, and I guess also comfortable but I found the entire decoration to be not of good taste. Breakfast was also very puzzling; the restaurant was barely a restaurant, small and empty. The food was good but I had to order it to the lady from front desk. I don’t know if I’m making any sense with this review, all I can say is that all the while, we found ourselves feeling like we had overpaid for what we were getting. And that we never understood why it was so expensive if it wasn’t even that top service, top installations, top food, top everything. I would never recommend paying their prices, I think it is worth it, I would never go back.

Gorgeous, glamorous suite hotel. Beautifully decorated, right in the heart of Antwerp. Very helpful but skeleton staff. Comfortable bed and lounge area. Strange see through shower section though. Artful touches of gold everywhere. Welcome drink was a nice touch. Breakfast very overpriced.

Really nice new hotel. Right in the centre of old town. Rooms are very well furnished. As it is a new hotel there are a few things that can be improved. For example, the remote control for the TV did not work properly, there was no space in the bathroom to hang towels, the waiter at the hotel restaurant did not really know how to explain the menu + the menu was only available in Dutch. However, it is one of the nicest places to stay in Antwerp and it is ideal for a romantic weekend escape. The beds are comfy, the bathtub is HUGE, the drinks at the bar and the food at the restaurant are very good and the service is very friendly. This is a hotel that will for sure only keep getting better with time.
