We had a wonderful experience staying at Minh Duc Hotel at Tuan Chau Marina. The hotel is in a very convenient location inside the harbor, making it perfect for anyone joining a Ha Long Bay cruise. What impressed us the most was the kindness and exceptional support from the gentleman who was managing the hotel on the day we stayed. After finishing our Ha Long Bay tour around 6:30 PM, we returned to collect our luggage and discovered that our next hotel booking had been canceled because of a credit card issue. He immediately stepped in to help us. He arranged a taxi for our trip to Ninh Binh, took us on his motorbike to an ATM so we could exchange money, and made sure everything was sorted before we left. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help turned a very stressful situation into a smooth one. We are truly grateful for his outstanding hospitality. Thank you for going above and beyond to help us. We highly recommend Minh Duc Hotel to anyone visiting Ha Long Bay and would definitely stay here again. ⭐ Highly recommended!

Hotel and staff were fine for what we paid, but Tuan Chau was disappointing. There aren’t many places to eat or shop around the hotel, and the food we did find was expensive and not very good.

We booked our travel in advance. Unfortunately, during our visit, there are typhoon which made us stay in hotel all the time. All the shops closed. Not easy to have a meal (food) during the typhoon time. Nobody was in the street and the area ghosted. The hotel boss is helpful and brought us to the restaurant which we can have our dinner. We don't mind to come back to stay in this hotel again.

If you’re taking a boat cruise this place is walking distance away. There are local restaurants around and cafes. Owner has little English but treated me to lunch the following day very kind.
