    I had seen plenty of reviews about checkin-in struggles so was prepared for it. It appeared that Agoda didn't share any communication details to the hotel so they couldn't share the PIN Code, location, etc with us. I proactively reached out to the hotel's whatsapp number (available on google) and received an almost instant reply. They informed us of the requirements (online check-in link), location to find the hotel (Plaza Alfaro) and sent the code on the day of check-in. Getting into the hotel was still a challenge as the main door mentions to use the "other door" but does not specifies if that is door number 2! Called the hotel using the door bell and it took 3-5 mins to clear the confusion. The room (#1 on First Floor) was spacious, very aesthetic, and had everything you need. There was a bit of noise from the street and when someone opened the main door but manageable. The front desk experience though could be better. We went there on day#3 to enquire about check-out process, etc and the manager does have an attitude :) When he is describing something (check-in process while on phone, or guidance to find something in-person), there is this 'you are an idiot' tone! not very pleasant. The 4 stars are for the lack of warmth. Otherwise it is a 5/5 property.
