    I'll start off with the very good and good attributes. Robert was phenomenal and took care of all our needs while visiting. The resort is visually stunning. The photos do not do this place justice. It just just overwhelmingly beautiful. The rooms were comfortable, especially the private pool room. The fresh juice at breakfast was excellent and the food overall. The prices were like an American resort, however. Now for the little annoying things. We found most of the staff do not know how to cater to guest's needs. Robert says he will make changes and I am certain that he will. The service was slow and the worker's knowledge of English was limited. Many reviews say the entrance road is terrible, and it is. It is not a major issue, but you would think in a resort this nice they could make fixing it a priority. The location is isolated, which is perfect for peace and quiet, but it is about a 15 minute drive to the nearest town. We were glad we had a rental car. The food and drink prices were extremely high, but perhaps expected at a resort. At the end of the stay they charged $60 for taxi service when we had a rental car the entire time. They did remove this but it took a call to the manager. The salt water in the rooms was annoying. All of us hated it. The soap will not make suds in such water and we all felt unclean and a film of minerals on our skin. It was also annoying that we were only allowed 1 room key. When one person left we had to keep the door open. It also doesn't allow you to charge your batteries when you leave as you need a room key to keep the power on. Also the air conditioner stops when you remove the room key and you come back to a room the temperature of an oven. These little annoyances did not make for a bad stay however and the good certainly outweigh the bad. All of us visiting would certainly return. My hope is that they learn from these reviews and bring the Blue Moon up to the standards of a high end resort.

    Our stay at Blue Moon Resort was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We were delighted to receive a floating breakfast as a gift from the owner, which made the experience even more special. The entire stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend Blue Moon Resort to anyone looking for a memorable escape.
