    Midtown hotel is undergoing renovation but still perfectly functional. It has a kitchenette but we didn’t need that for 1 night. Clean & nice furniture!

    Whenever I read other reviews, I read the ones with 1, 2, or 3 stars. I was concerned about the condition of the place since the price was very low. In short, I would return. First, I loved the location. Costco, Trader Joe's, and Jeremiah's Ice cream (if you love ice cream like I do) were all within 3 - 5 minutes of ride. Second, except for the traffic hours, you rarely ever get stuck in the traffic. Only spot I had an issue was when getting off the highway from downtown Greenville to the place. Third, staff (Kevin) was very friendly and nice. Fourth, I think this place will be upgraded as it was going through renovation. Fifth, we cooked in the room, and stovetop worked fine. We called to make sure cooking was okay, kept the window open, and cleaned afterwards. Make sure to bring own utensils, plates, pans, pots, and other kitchenware as they don't provide them. It had stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and a coffee machine. Negatives: I noticed minor damages. No biggy, but you have to pay the security deposit (nowadays, I think most places request this). In the description, it said conjoining rooms available. When I called to confirm, it was not. Also, I saw that I reserved a room with 2 queen beds with recliner, but not all rooms had a recliner. So description on either Agoda or their website is not accurate. I would stay at this place again in the fuutre.
