Selina security workers are very rude and my room access key has a lot of problems, they replaced the batteries twice in the same day. Also, Water pressure was off in the morning during our stay.

They need to update the pictures they have on there website, we rented the suite and it was very dirty and difficult to get to, they didn’t even offer to help us take the suitcase through all the 340 stairs steps to get to the suite, it’s very old and the a/c was not working right, also some how someone went inside our room, when we were getting to the room a guy was coming out. They try to blame us that we had left the door open. And that was not true. Also the restrooms smell really bad. I will definitely will never stay in that nasty old place.

Beware! Hotel reception staff has no consideration for age if you decide to reserve a room with a bathroom. I had to walk up a flight of stairs with over 100 steps to get to my room :-(

Great location. Great restaurant with great food. We were located on the third floor. The hostel only has stairs so be prepared to walk up 100-200 steps to get to your room every time you come and go. It’s fairly tough when you are carrying your luggage or groceries.

I enjoyed the service and the activities the staff offered, such as the pool party, yoga and mindfulness sessions. The water dispenser didn’t work during my stay, so it was uncomfortable to refill the water bottles, because we (the guests) had to use a knife to open the water faucets. The food is good and the drinks are amazing!

Great location. Many activities at night. Super clean. It was nice sleeping at night with the sound of the waves. Our room was on the third floor and we had to climb 135 steps. Which for us was a nice exercise. But may not be for everyone.

We stayed at many Selinas around the world, but this one is honestly pretty terrible! During our 3-night stay, we had so many issues! First, they couldn’t find our booking, then, asked us to pay (even though it was prepaid 1.5 months in advance), then stated that they don’t have a room for us and we have to stay one night, check out and stay in another room - seriously? We booked 1.5 months in advance and there were plenty of rooms. We refused and after a lot of going back and forth, a room magically appeared. However, mid-stay the cleaner came to ask why we havent checked out yet as she has an earlier checkout date indicated for us. So again, we had to go to the reception and deal with them! The room itself was pretty basic, had horrible sewer smell coming out of the toilet and the AC pointing at the bed, so we managed to get sick. Using a fan wasn’t an option as it was creaking and evidently broken. There was no blanket provided and we couldn’t sleep almost at all during the first night as it was either too hot or too cold. Had to ask for the blanket at the reception twice - on the second attempt, we finally got one. For over $120 a night this experience is one of the worst we ever had. Ah, and if you want to sleep earlier than 3am every night, bring some earplugs with you as they will be blasting music half of the night

Great location. Good food, located right across from the beach and near lots of restaurants. I tried one of the teepees, which was fine for one person, if you don’t mind a shared bathroom situation. Great music, always fun people to talk to around one of the pools. Worked from a gorgeous perch in the library. Internet strong, fabulous views. Must walk up 75 steps to get to the roof bar, upper pool -!; some of the rooms, but worth it for the gorgeous views!

I guess mosquito’s are a given? The mango trees in the back where also infested with flies. Mosquitos in the bathroom as well. People smoke cigarettes wherever and it’s gross. no designated area for cigarette smokers.

Our stay was terrible! Me and my husband were very disappointed with the room. 1. Room was dirty there was sand on the floor and in bed. 2. Our door was broken so mosquitoes got in our room and we had the worst nights. We asked the staff to switch our rooms and they didn’t - they said there were no rooms available. No one came fix the door either.
