Not your usual hotel room….a room in an old house …different but nice….hardwood floors….could have been noisy but other people in the building were quiet and considerate

This place is okay, but has potential. It really needs to be cleaned up, the back is disgusting with damp leaves everywhere, including right out my bedroom window.
There is a light that was buzzing and kept flickering on outside of my window and there is no way I, or anyone, could sleep through that. I had to open the window and reach out and flip the switch to turn it off. Thank God that worked, because I emailed and texted and never got a response from anyone, although it was late.
The milk in the fridge was one week expired which I discovered after I already poured my bowl of cereal.
I was the only one staying there, which was sort of nice, but part of the reason I booked a B&B was to meet other people and have breakfast with others. Slow time of year I guess. At the very least, I expected to meet the hosts- that's how every other B&B I've been to was, host was there serving breakfast, etc.
