We had a great time at Nasu Laforet Hotel. It was just perfect for what we planned and needed on our stay. - the staffs were very accommodating We arrived earlier due to snowy weather and just thought of hanging out in the lobby until our check in time. However, they were considerate to have us for early check in. When we got in the room, there were three beds prepared (one is sofa bed). Since my daughter prefers to sleep with me, we ask them if they can turn back the bed to sofa to have a bigger space and a table. They were very prompt in granting our request. - The onsen was good we were able to really enjoy it. The onsen is near to our room which makes it very accessible to us. We went there 3 times on the first night. My daughter and I loved the view when we got in, since the onsen is facing east and surrounded with mirror we were able to see the sun shining through the windows, trees, and snow. It was beautiful. The size is normal, nothing big and fancy. It was just what we expected. I just hope the lights can be a little dimmer around 9 pm so it can add to relaxing mood. I understand on earlier hours due to kids/family taking a bath. But on later time it would be nice to have more calmer atmosphere. - The location is good. There are many tourists spots that is very accessible and we were able to visits some of them. Having a car is a must to fully enjoy the area. And there are many restaurants as well some are just like 3 minutes drive, that was a big point for us as well. For family we recommend the Italian restaurant gioiamia.jp/gioiamia/nasu. They were very quick in serving tasty meals even though the place was packed. - Their breakfast was good. Nothing fancy but the vegetables were fresh. We would definitely stay here again.

硫黄の匂いの温泉がとても良かったです。特に露天風呂から見る木々に癒されました。部屋も清潔でベットの下まで掃除が行き届いていて、そういったホテルは珍しいので、その点も良かったです。お値段もリーズナブルだったので、また利用したいです。ありがとうございました。

No mountain view. Room deco makes it look old-fashioned & dated. Bed is a bit hard & there is only one pillow per bed. Walls probably a bit thin cos can hear activities outside. Bf is standard & limited - no change for the 3 days there. Guess only grace is the lovely onsen water though the onsen area is a bit too well-lit!
