Kokotel Krabi Oasis

The staff are amazing and friendly. Hotel is in a great condition and rooms are comfortable with big bed and new air conditioning. Cleaned every day. I only booked for 3 days but ended up extending my stay.

It was in a good location a little off the main road on the beach. Breakfast was great and the staff were helpful.

The hotel is very nice. Clean and comfortable with a small cafe at reception and a limited menu throughout the day. The staff are very friendly, but always so busy that it can be hard to get help if you need it. Not their fault at all, but they are running reception and the cafe so at times they are just too busy to be as helpful as they’d like to be. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The showers are adequate, but water pressure is low and not always as hot as you may want. The location, however, is a bit disappointing. It is a good 25 minute walk to the beach and closer to 35 minute walk if you want to get to the end of the beach where there are loungers and sun beds you can rent. You can take a Tuk Tuk but they are pricey -$3 to $6 USD each way which adds up quick if you’re on a budget. It is also a bit difficult to get a Tuk Tuk from right outside. You will likely have to walk 5 - 7 minutes to the main road to find one, and the walk is down a narrow road with lots of traffic and no sidewalk — not fun if you have kids in tow. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, but you’ll have to get yourself down to the main road if you want more options or less expensive choices. The pool is pleasant but the photos make it look bigger. It is quite narrow with limited poolside seating that is always in the shade - not very kid friendly as it’s too narrow for playing. With what we spent on Tuktuks we could have stayed somewhere closer to the beach.

The only thing that works for me was a breakfast that was made à la carte.

Dirty and super noisy from room to room. Air condition very loud. All amenities are old, expired and damaged. Towels are black, gray color ( from white towel ) and tore. The building itself are older than the pictures.

This is a reasonably-priced base for the area. Staff were welcoming and efficient. All our tours picked up from the hotel. The room was spacious and bright. It wasn't dirty, bit it wasn't spotlessly clean either. The bed was really comfortable, though the bedside tables were a bit small and low. The sheets had a few marks on, too. Breakfast had quite a lot of variety and long hours. Air conditioning was very loud, even on the lowest setting. Attempts had been made to be eco-friendly by having some toiletries and additional towels available at reception, but then not so because towels were changed even when they were left hanging as per the information in the room. The room had a kettle, but no coffee or tea. When we asked for these we were told that they were not provided; so, we are not sure what the kettle was for. The main issue we had was the shower. The showerhead was set back above a built in shelf, whilst the taps stuck out unusually far. The water was not powerful enough to reach past the taps so you would not stand under it.

The staff were extremely nice and professional, the hotel was very clean and modern and the rooms very very nice - probably the best we've slept for our entire trip. We ended up extending our stay by two days. Highly recommended, thank you.

Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, great AC, friendly & helpful staff. Liked that they had water dispensers so I didn't have to keep buying plastic bottles of water.

Price is reasonable

Large, clean room. Nice pool area, protected from the sun. Walking distance from many restaurants and the beach.

im passionate about the breakfast provided,food like chicken porridge tasted good,not too salty or oily.The lady in the cafe is always wearing a smiling face.There is also free shuttle bus provided at specific hours.The only thing is the air-cond was too cold,we put on sweater n think blanket during our stayed at krabi.i didnt know whether could adjust to the temperature we wished,tried but couldnt adjust,i think maybe it was preset.ill surely book other kokotel hotels again in my coming holidays.TQ!

location wise its a little far from the maim tourist area in Ao nang but you could just rent a bike or use their shuttle to go around. no big the deal. staff was friendly and basically everything else is OK to me.

Nice staffs, new and clean hotel, a bit further away from the main road ( where food and the fun are) The other Kokotel is at a better location. Amenities such as toothbrushes, comb, shaver wasn’t at the room, You have to ask for it and its a bit of an inconvenient in my opinion.

There are some pros and cons, so this review will not be as glowing as I wanted to write. The property itself is decent, cute boutique hotel lobby, a small pool, a children's room, and you can make use of the shuttle that goes between this location and the other. Shuttle driver was very helpful and friendly, dropping passengers close to the beach as it's on the way to the other location. The room is comfortable, but there are certain amenities that you have to go down to the lobby to get. Hand towels, bedroom slippers cotton pads and dental kits are not provided in-room. I think it would be fair to provide everything in-room upon check-in, and refills can be requested on subsequent days. When I went downstairs to ask, it felt like I was asking for a favour, rather than getting items I'd paid for as part of the room price - staff could have been friendlier here. Water was not hot at all even when the temperature was on max, all we got for three nights was lukewarm showers. Breakfast was quite good as others have mentioned, the menu was changed daily. This provides a pretty good value for choosing to stay at this hotel. The location is slightly far from the main strip, you have to walk along a road without sidewalks most of the way, or pay for a short but expensive tuktuk ride. This is the biggest disadvantage of this otherwise decent hotel. Overall stay was fine, but considering the other gushing reviews here, I was expecting a bit more.

Good Hotel! Friendly people! My family took 4 nights here and it's really a good experience in Karbi. The location is a little bit far from main street, but the 7-11 is just allocated next to hotel. Very convenient.

We had multiple incidents of blackout and later on there was water shortage for a few times and for quite a long while. It wasn't really their fault because of the storm but they promised us that the water will be back but it wasn't. We saw other hotel tenants were able to shower but we couldn't. It was disappointing.

Clean and staff is very helpful

The staff at the hotel chains are wonderfully helpful. They went the extra mile to help their guests. The only downside is there's no lift directly to our floor, every time we have to go down and up the stairs to get to our room. It's difficult when you are carrying luggage. But one staff did help us with one of our bag as she can clearly see I was struggling.
