Nice place. Could have been better if some staffs would be more welcoming as some simply ignored people even when not busy. Some forgot basic manners

Excellent location that's easy to get to and very central in the Colonial Zone for a nice price. Quick check-in. Room was all the way in the back of the third floor so it was very quiet. I got a spacious room with a comfortable king bed, with full body mirror, great AC that kept the room fresh all the time, a desk mostly taken over by the TV (didn't use) and internet gear, but it had plenty of useful drawers; also, a rolling chair, four hangers, strong safety box for valuables, luggage rack, an iron and ironing board (which I did not use, but was pleased to see). Every thing was clean, no weird smells. Curtains would close all the way. Bathroom was clean, well-lit, big mirror, hotel handsoap smelled nice. Good toilet draining pressure. Shower was big and clean, with mobile and removable shower head, water pressure was strong, water heating worked great, but it would take about 4 minutes to heat up if you took a shower after midnight, which is understandable. Outlets are a little lacking, so you might want to bring a power strip for as many devices as you need to charge and even an extension cord because the one outlet accross from the bed (where the TV is connected) is not close enough to the bed for most typical charging cables (and I would imagine the outlet situation is not that much different in other rooms). Room would get cleaned and serviced with a change in bedding and towels every day around noon. Gym was nice with a cable machine, walking machine, some weights and bathroom with one shower. Staff was always helpful and polite. Breakfast buffet was nice and totally worth including on your reservation, with cheese slices, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, slices fruits (melon, watermelon, pineapple) mashed potatoes or mashed plantains, fried salami and cheese, hot chocolate or hot oatmeal, muffins and brownies, toasted bread, water, artificial fruit punch and hot coffee. Only missing the usual pancakes and waffles. 7am-10:30am (11am on the weekends). There's a microwave in the lobby. The little patio area next to the restaurant has some outdoor seating and tables that's accessible at all times in case you want eat outside your room or just lounge outside your room. Wi-Fi was fast and worked well all over the property. If you're one of the people who likes using the stairs, they are well-lit and not creepy. The hotel was easy to reach out via phone. This hotel is a great option for those who can afford *** prices and don't want to deal with ***, but want to stay in a proper hotel with breakfast included (although I'm not sure what dynamic price you'd be shown, I paid *** total for three nights on a weekend and booked 6 days in advance).

Very convenient to colonial Santo Domingo. Good restaurants nearby. Hotel is very nice. Staff is great!

Stayed 4 nights. First day there was no TV signal, the next day asked the receptionist to have it fixed, I had to wait for the handyman in the room to let him in, it was problem with the service provider, got fix later that day. Second day, came back to the room in the afternoon for a rest of the days heat (33°C), decided to shower to cool down, to my surprise there was no cold water only hot, didn't think it was possible to run out of cold water. Thirds day, the toilet got blocked in the morning. Staff were friendly and all our issues got fixed in a timely manner. Location is great to explore the colonial city but be mindful there's lots of street noise including parties from nearby business at night with music going on past midnight most nights.
