Rattana Guesthouse is centrally located in Luang Prabang, close to river bank, close to night food market and close to restaurants. There is public laundry three houses down from Rattana, although I did not use it. My room downstarirs was very good. Everything was working, good airconditioning in the room. Warm water for shower was also available. Staff was welcoming. They can call you shuttle bus for a shared ride to the train station. There are many shuttles buses available at the train station at the time of arrival of trains, so no need for reservations. Just tell the shuttle driver the name of your hotel. I am very satisfied with my stay in Rattana Guesthouse.

Easy to get to this property from the bus/minivan terminal. Also, very close to everything, in walking distance (night market, restaurants, and Phousi Hill - sunrise/sunset). Staff were super friendly and helpful. Helped us get to Kuang Si Waterfalls and gave us good recommendations. Room was spacious and clean. Had both a fan and AC unit. We enjoyed our time in Luang Prabang. Definitely recommend this place - it's great!
It's right off the main road where there are plenty of tuk tuks if you need to get to the airport.
